After negotiating the somewhat tricky road we found Porcupine Pie 7 km from civilisation in a world of its own. The views were wonderful, the quietness was very restful and our chalet was very well appointed.

After driving the most scary road we arrived to an absolutely beautiful place with great hosts and nice facilities. The view is breath taking and you feel one with the nature. One of the best places on Garden Route! John cooked us delicious dinner and breakfasts.

We booked in for 3 nights as part of our 2 week honeymoon along the Garden Route. On arrival the host, John, met us and showed us where our chalet was and even kindly offered to help us with our baggage. From the contents of our boot it was fairly obvious that we had been expecting to self cater for...

I fully understand that Porcupine Pie was not suitable for you. We are located on a hill overlooking the Touw River valley and have a central Lapa and 3 separate Chalets. This ensures that our guests enjoy privacy, but it does require a short walk. Our rates are Bed & Breakfast but we do offer dinner most nights by arrangement....

We spent three nights here on our honeymoon. Everything was perfect... Our chalet was lovely, clean and romantic. The views from our deck were amazing. The food was delicious. What made our stay more special was that our host, John, was friendly, helpful, hospitable and welcoming. He made every effort to ensure that our stay was enjoyable and relaxing. Highly...

The most amazing views. The lodge is situated close to Wilderness and Knysna, so if you get tired of lounging around, there is still lots to do. This is a jewel that everyone should visit at least once in their life. Thank you to John and Judy for your hospitality!

Most amazing service, facilities, food and view. This all contributed to making our honeymoon memorable. The people at Porcupine Pie truly go out of their way to accommodate you and make your stay extra special. We are definitely returning for our 1 year anniversary (if not before that)... High five!

Perfect location, breathtaking views, good food, friendly people! The lodge is stunning, peaceful with a feeling of being miles away from everything, while being close to a whole lot of activities. Me and my wife recently visted Porcupine pie for our Honeymoon. It was a start to many more visits. The Hospitality of John and Judy was top class. We enjoyed John's stories very much and he always assisted us when we wanted to visit places in the surrounding area. John's food was also excellent and Judy's desert was even better!...
