We spent 2 nights of our honeymoon at Porcupine Pie. The views are amazing, and they have nice trails to the waterfall. John's hospitality and the meals he cooked for us was fantastic. Highly recommended.

My wife booked us in here for the week end and we had the most amazing time... it was a scenic four and a half hour drive from Cape Town, and was the perfect long week get away. We'll be back, beautiful setting, great food and wonderful hosts.

The lodge is the perfect place to relax, enjoy beautiful scenery and to have that much needed romantic breakaway (if you're not on your honeymoon!). The room was lovely and all the small details are tended to. John makes you feel at home and is the perfect host. An absolute delightful place to stay.

After a busy few months and hectic days leading up to our amazing wedding, we just needed the quiet getaway for the two of us. Upon arrival John welcomed us and showed us around and we...

Stayed here for our honeymoon. Definitely not a kids stay, much more suitable for couples. Breathtaking views! The rooms are well kitted, lovely clean, spacious bathrooms. The common area is cosy, with a fireplace and pool. To date, the best, fluffiest scrambled eggs I have ever had in my life. The owner is so sweet and obliging and tried to...

Wow. That pretty much sums up Porcupine Pie Lodge. Like every other reviewer on here, what a view, spectacular. The owner John was great. The breakfast in the morning was perfect, poached eggs cooked to perfection. The dinner on our 1st night was restaurant quality. We had a local SA steak and was very good. I would recommend arranging the...
