We stayed at this B & B which was in a lovely quiet position with nice views over the river. Unfortunately the weather was very poor so we could not take advantage of the canoes which were available. The Breakfast was very good and nicely served. The owners kindly booked a restaurant for us.

Very nice place to stay and breakfast served on the deck, on the edge of the lagoon, is a great way to start the day. Staff very helpful and Tim, the manager, was always around to assist and give useful information. Treetops was great although maybe a bit of a climb if you were older. (luckily we are still youngsters...

Loved the location, food, accommodation and service. Maureen and Tim were excellent and attentive hosts. Wilderness is a hidden gem on the garden route. Room was spacious clean and well serviced, this isn't modern chic, but honest african themed comfort, lovely thatched apartment style rooms, in an idyllic location. Breakfast was a real treat, top quality, overlooking the river, absolute...

The Guest House is very wll located: riverside and very close to the beach. The breakfast was delicious and we felt welcome by the owners who have booked a table for dinner for us. You can also go kayaking directly from the Guest House.

A very warm welcome to this lodge, very friendly staff. Location is perfect, overlooking the banks of a river. Pedalo and canoes available for guests. A good breakfast, fruits, cereals, hot cooked breakfast too.Rooms spacious. My negative is that it felt as though the room and bathroom could do with a good deep clean and needs refreshing, painting etc Change...

There is a wonderful old-fashionedness about Moontide and it does have a bayou feel in an African way. The breakfast is excellent and the suites are very comfortable. Best of all is that the lagoon is on your doorstep!

The setting on a river is stunningly beautiful. Guests can sunbathe by the river, and take out canoes or a pedalo for a closer look at the impressive houses along the river. We had a warm welcome by the manager who has a lovely personality. A place for dinner was recommended and a reservation made. He was also very knowledgeable...

Thank you for the review. We do appreciate positive comments and criticism, which helps us to give the best service we can. I would like to respond, however, to the negative parts of the review. The Owner, and myself, do care very much about the condition of the property, and do go the extra mile to do the best we...

Rooms full of character. Staff full of energy, good advice and care. Setting on the lagoon beautiful. Weather a dissapointment but Moontide couldn't help that. Although I have no doubt they would have if they could have. Strongly recommended

Beautifully decorated and the most tranquil location on the river - loved having breakfast on the terrace. we stayed in the Tree Top room which was incredible - private balcony and outdoor shower. Nice touch leaving port in the room. Very short walk to the stunning beach. Highly recommend!
