We had a great couple of nights at Moontide Guest House. It was perfectly positioned within walking distance of town but out of the main busy part. The location was beautiful, right on the lagoon and we took full advantage of the free canoes, paddling all the way up river and then walking to the beautiful waterfall for a swim....

This is a limited facility establishment as a B & B and I would rate it no more than 2 star possibly 3. The management and staff however are very welcoming and helpful but they have limited resources available. We must have been one of the most unfortunate guests for our two night stay as we were unable to get...

We visited Moontide Guest House early January. It is very nicely located near a lake and is surrounded by beautiful nature. We (family of 4) slept in the cottage, very cute and clean. The lady of the house was very welcoming and gave very good advice a.o. about restaurants to go to. Having breakfast on the terrace near the lake...

Moontide Guest House was a beautiful treasure we found on our road trip down the coast. The location is idyllic at the waters edge and the boats available to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the surrounding nature were a favorite. We stayed in the Stone Cottage and the main room and private courtyard were beautifully decorated and very romantic....

We stayed as a family of five. Wonderful position right next to the lagoon which our children loved swimming in and kayaking on. We were welcomed by the team and made to feel right at home. Breakfast was wonderful (even in the rain..but we quickly moved indoors) - try the homemade croissant! Thank you!

Spent 3 nights being looked after by Judge and Maureen and co. Always very helpful in correspondence before the trip. Stayed in the treetops, awakened at dawn to the dawn chorus. It rained one of the days, which was a nice break from the sunshine, all the nicer cosy in the treetops. Breakfast was always delicious and fresh. Judge always...

Beautiful setting on the river. Warm, friendly welcome. The kids jumped in the pool and then took the canoes up the river to the beach. The rooms/cabins are lovely - gorgeous looking and have everything you need. A short walk to restaurants and a great breakfast in the morning. Wish we had stayed longer.
