We found Phoenix House by chance in the Greenwood Guide ,and decided to spend the last night of our 3weeks in South Africa there.We have no regrets,!!! If your'e planning on visiting Wilderness then save yourself time and effort and book Phoenix Guest House because you won't find a better place to stay. Why is it special, well the attention to detail is unbelievable and the atmosphere is very calm and soothing. This is all down to the owner Peter who made us feel so at home...

Phoenix is absolutely fantastic and our host Peter even better. The rooms are gorgeous and views unbelievable. We where welcomed with such love. That night cheese and crackers were set out for us to nibble on. The next morning we had the most amazing breakfast from a fruit salad with double whipped yoghurt to home made cranola wich was amazing...
