A group of us enjoyed a second trip to stay at Pennygum Cottages and parktake in some excellent tubing on the river nearby. Paul and Sarah were so welcoming and accommodating and made our stay in their comfortable and clean cottages an absolute pleasure! My car broke down on the Sunday (!) and they were incredibly helpful, recommending a local...

We had a lovely time at this cottage. We are a big family and we all fitted really well. The garden and views were stunning and the close distance to town was great! The owners are friendly and kind. Our late arrival was accommodated and we were welcomed warmly even though it was dark, misty and raining.

My family and I stayed in the family cottage over the Drak Challenge weekend. When we arrived quite late after registration, Paul still rushed out to give us a very welcoming greeting and a run down of everything we needed to know about the cottage. The family cottage itself was a little smaller than expected. The kitchen appliances need a...

Carina and travelled around Lesotho (on the outside) after a challenge from our son. Thank you to John and Sarah for the great welcome and we enjoyed the stay at Pennygum. The facilities are excellent and we have no complaints. We will be returning to explore the Underberg area. I could put up my amateur radio antenna and make some...

The thatched cottage gives a real cosy feel. It is excellently equiped and very stylish and modern. The property is wide and open with friendly dogs and an awesome display of the mountains in the distance. The location is within driving range of Underberg and ideally situated for other viewing sites etc.

excellent stay in a excellent cottage with excellent hosts. Sarah and Paul have created a gem underberg. The cottage we stayed in was very well appointed having everything we needed. To top it off the log fire made the stay even better ;-)

Pennygum is so peaceful. We've stayed at Pennygum twice and it's become our families chosen holiday destination at the Underberg. Both Sarah and Paul are brilliant hosts, they ensured we were comfortable and warm at the lodges, they provided local information and comfort to all of us. The cottages are well equipped and cosy. My children love it at Pennygum...

The short break we had to Pennygum was full of surprises. The view, the hosts, the comfortable accommodation, the advice of places to visit by the hosts, the peace and quiet. Our chalet was not cleaned for our short break but maybe it was because of this.
