Thank you very much for your hospitality. Special mention must be made of the Lance James and Jackson evening. We were amazed at home popular your venue was for the different events. Special thank you for your kindness in letting me have the use of the walking aid for the duration of my stay. Regards Anne Brand.

We spend a night in a double bed room. The bed was comfortable, you have climatisation and heating in the room. TV too. The shower was hot and clean, the toilets too. They have a beautiful garden. You can have a full English breakfast at the morning, to have energy for all morning. The owner and the security guy is...

Some lodges have great history and have old buildings with stylish interior decorating, in this case with Aintree neither is true although the room was clean the maintenance leaves a lot to be desired like water tap breaking out of dispencer. Coupled with the National highway noise literally 50 meters from the bedroom and you are setup for a under...

A group of 38 hockey players stayed at the lodge for 8 days, the management and staff went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Rooms were clean, standard tea, coffee and bar fridge available in all rooms. All rooms had Mnet and inter-net available in dinning area. Assisted with laundry which was a massive...

I have not actually stayed at Aintree, but have attended many of their public functions. They have several different themes throughout the week - Wednesday night karaoke being particularly popular as is their burger and beer evening on Fridays. One "builds" one's own burger from the wonderful array of ingredients arranged with delicious sauces and salad ingredients to boot. All...

The lodge needs a bit of TLC and work as would be a fantastic place if more care was taken. The rooms are clean and has everything that one needs but in some cases the tvs don't work and some of the bathrooms need their showers fixed etc. We were a group that stayed. The staff did go out of...

Walls crawling with ants. Never seen so many in one place before. Walls were black with them. Ants crawling all over and in the bed. Complaint was met with "will call the cleaners". Manager finally arrived with a can of Doom. Eventually we were moved. Late for the wedding we were attending in PMB as a result. Breakfast bar totally...

“A lot of work has been done on improvements and upgrades to Aintree and I think it would be a wonderful place to stay with friendly helpful staff. The breakfasts are terrific. Would recommend to anyone, although I have not personally stayed there, I know there are many repeat visitors.”
