We were going to camp and decided it was so hot this time of the year so we stayed in the chalets. The communal bathrooms were okay, but they needed the floors to be cleaned more often than they were. However the pool was very welcoming with the humidity that we had at the time. Lovely to see the animals...

We stayed at Bush Baby lodge for one night. The accommodation is basic and adequate. The chalet has two beds a table and chairs outside on the verandah , very basic cutlery and a kettle. There is no TV. This little lodge was a welcome break from the rat race. There is a lovely dining area for breakfast or meals...

Pim and Thandi are great hosts. This one of the better places I have ever stayed at! Great value for money. I will most certainly go back in the future. Planning a trip for all my staff next year in April.

We came here because of the good reviews and the pool. We stayed two nights with our tent (120 per person per night). There is a kitchen to cook, two fridges and tables to sit and eat. But don't expect too much. The kitchen stuff is in an absolute state, especially the sauce pans (pictures added). No cutlery at all....

Dear Nora, We used to have always very good sets of pots and pans at the communal kitchens but they seem to disappear all the time and most people camping bring their own camping gear. Our tap water is bore hole water but we supply drinking water for free at both kitchens ( the 5L cans). The bathrooms are cleaned...

I camped here for one night and was very happy with everything. Campsite was clean with immaculate ablutions. The meals served in the restaurant were 100%. All staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again when I'm in the area.

Camped for 5 nights at Bushbaby Lodge, near Hluhluwe. Very nice campsite under shady trees. Facilities are very good - nice ablutions block, swimming pool and short walks on the property. The camp is less than half hour drive from to Hluhluwe Game Reserve Memorial Gate it is also very close to Hluhluwe village (that is if you need anything)....

We enjoyed our stay at Bushbaby Lodge where we camped for 4 days, loved it there, only downside is that they can really upgrade the bathrooms, looked a bit grubby, however the stay was awesome. Will definitely visit it again

Not many camping facilities available close to Hluluwe were we needed to be for Cycle event. Rather pricy for whats on offer but then again choice in the area is limited!! Sites are spacious with some grass / shady sites. Although the chalets each have a stainless steel braai facility, the camsites have to share two communal braai facilities and...

We stopped over at Bushbaby Lodge Hluhluwe on the way to KNP from Durban (2 nights)and on our way back again ( 1 night). Our original intention was to camp but with the forecast of bad weather we wimped out and hired a bungalow with a bathroom. Very clean and tidy but rustic. Enjoyed sitting on the veranda viewing the...

We always enjoy coming back here, this time with the grandchildren. What a wonderful safe place to introduce little ones to the bush. They loved watching the animals come down to eat and drink at the waterhole, and they loved walking through the bush every afternoon. Feeding the bushbabies was obviously the highlight. Thandi and her staff are always so...
