We booked this accommodation because it is so close to the gate to enter the Hluhluwe park... First of all: the staff is amazing! They were very helpful and were very welcoming on arrival. Always so nice to feel welcome after a long drive! The rondavels (bungalows in local style) are spread out in a very dry garden, never the...

Had the opportunity to stay at Zululand Safari lodge from the 19-23 December 2016. We were welcomed by energetic and friendly staff with cold litchi juice and a wet towel to cool us down during a typical hot summer day. Rooms were clean, air-conditioned with a great view, Braai area a short walk away. Really enjoyed our stay and will...

One of about fifty rooms on the reserve, all served by a central hub with good buffet breakfast and dinner, enjoyed while overlooking nine crocodiles and hundreds of weaver birds nesting. Afternoon tea was served from 2pm to 5pm, accommodating those who went on morning or afternoon safaris. These were organised by the hotel to both the nearby Hluhluwe Imfolozi...

We stayed at this resort with our friends from Switzerland. Everything was clean and the rondawels very comfortable. If I can complain about anything it would just be that the food was cold when we ate in the restaurant one evening even the soup . Apart from that all else was good.

We have been at this lodge early September and all the three of us really enjoyed this relaxing place: Very nice, spacious and clean rooms in lovely huts with a safari atmosphere. Nice dinner and breakfast at a great location. Very friendly staff. Close to the fantastic Hluhluwe NP. Definitely worth the money and absolutey a recommendation!

We've recently had the fortune to stay at the zululand safari lodges. They are just right, the right size, lovely big cosy bed, which is really needed after the long safari. The bar and restaurant are open air, lots of dark wood, lovely big sofas, you just sink into with your G & T, and sit and listen to the...

We stayed three nights and wished it could be longer. Cute bungalows at an affordable price. Friendly staff throughout. Excellent service. Lovely breakfast buffet overlooking a croc pond and a weaverbird colony (we were there outside the breeding season but were told yellow weaver). Staff passes with a local bedtime story in the evening or tirn down your bed, close...

We stayed two nights at this Safari Lodge and had a great time. The accommodation was in a Rondavel with a seperate bathroom, kitchen (well equipped) and dressing room/closet. The bed was large, comfortable and cosy. The view was of the bush where we regularly saw Nyala, Impala and even a giraffe one evening. The Lodge has a restaurant that...

This place is a very good deal. It's right on a small reserve where you can see some animals. The common areas are great and the room was spacious, well equiped and comfortable. A great place to stay before going to Hluhluwe National PArk
