This was our third trip to Rhino River Lodge. Its a fabulous family friendly lodge that offers great value for money. The staff and rangers went out of their way to make our stay there very special. The food was delicious and creative! The game drives were varied and informative. The highlight was seeing cheetah and wild dog. We also...

We stayed with a family group of 6 people for two days in the Cottage and the Homestead, whereby the latter was a cost free upgrade of a normal double room. Both houses are huge but in the same way cozy. The terraces have a pool and a great view trough the beautiful fever trees on the (dry) river bed....

We spend 2 days at Rhino River Lodge and wish we could have stayed longer. The staff, room, food were great. We had 4 very good game drives with Alex and were lucky to spot cheetah on 2 drives, including their impala dinner. Also the mock attack of a black rhino and very close encounters with elephants are things to...

Also for a family like ours - 2 adults and 2 kids (8 and 11) -, this is a great place to be. We saw much wildlife and had close encounters with 'the big stuff'. The game drives were exciting and at the same time relaxing (and I did not have to drive!). The food was good, the staff friendly...

Thanks for your positive review and feedback! You are correct, one of the greatest parts about taking a private safari is that you don't have to drive yourself and you can just sit back, relax and enjoy. Plus the rangers know where all the hotspots are to look for animals and it increases your opportunities for seeing all the animals....
