We only stayed there for a night on the way further north. It's a cheap accommodation so don't expect too much. The cabins are somewhat dark and small but nevertheless clean. The staff is very friendly and they have a daily evening bushbaby-feeding which is cute. Kitchen and braai area is ok. We and one other couple were the only... More

We only went to Isinkwe for a night as all of the accommodations in Hluhluwe National park were booked at the day, but what a pleasant place we have found! Self catering unit is just perfect and on the top of that we finally met bushbabies which are fed in there every evening. At the time of our stay we... More

What a great stay at Isinkwe. From entering the farm you feel like you're in the bush. Room was "cosy", the bathroom was huge! The personnel was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the pool the most as it was hot (above 37 deg C). The food and service was above expectations. The bar was also well stocked and a blessing... More

We camped for 2 nights at Isinkwe backpackers when visiting Hluhluwe Game Reserve. Isinkwe has a small camping area with nice and clean ablutions nearby. Cooking cannot take place in the campsite, but in a communal kitchen and firepit - we were lucky it was quiet and we had these facilities to ourselves. You also cannot bring your own alcohol... Today my 8-year old daughter declared that of the great variety of accommodations we had during our trip in South Africa, Isinkwe was her favorite. The cabin was "cozy" and we could hear monkeys and bush babies at night. The pool was "awesome" - big and cool, a great relief for the hot afternoons. The staff were so friendly and... More

We took a group of 13 (all family) for a one night getaway before going into Imfolozi. Not our first visit, we thought it would be ideal for a family get together. And that it was. Everyone loved it right from Granny down to my 12 year old daughter. The staff are fantastic and the facilities are perfect for the... More

This bushcamp was a nice surprise. Included in the price is dinner and a very large breakfast. The rooms were comfortable, but nothing fancy. You feel that you are far from the outside world here. It was easy access to Hluhluwe park form here. I would stay again for sure.

Dinner and brekkie were great!!! Location to the Cat Project perfect. Our room, the shared bath were real bush feeling - nothing what we have expected for that money in ZA!! We would NOT stay there again.
