I checked inn after running the comrades marathon, the ladies at the reception were so accommodating. I told them i am very tired , all i want is to seat down, they agreed and offered me a juice while sorting the paper work. So respectful and welcoming front desk ladies. Room leaked when it rained... online reservation made through booking.com, however hotel won't allow payment to be made online - make sure you have the same credit card you made the booking with when you check in! Change the tv and fix the toilet lickage and show the people the the place to park when checking in because I got a ticket of R500.00 4 parking in the wrong place while I was in to receive the keys and be told about the parking.

Best described as faded gentility. Used to be 5 star now 4 star but trying to come back up. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else but at Royal hotel I really recommend for their amazing treatment and excellent service. It is a value for money. The Hotel is very tidy and spacious. Their family room is like 2 spacious rooms join together
