The quirky interior design is definitely the strength of The Concierge. Once that has worn off one is faced with the realities of the accommodation. My take on it: Room : On the small side but as a solo-traveller suited me perfectly fine. The veranda/ 'stoep' shared with the room next door is a lovely extension of the room. All...

Clean, interestingly furnished room an with awesome shower and good coffee, slept like a bay in the massive bed. The breakfast (I had the benedict) was really well done - good place for a few nights in the heart of Durbs,

The room was very comfortable and provided all one would need . It had a very pleasing scale s scale with individual and quirky details in the decor, like the daschund and dog motifs . The bathroom flowed off the bedroom, and was very spacious with a bath and a shower. I had a great breakfast at the Freedom cafe,...

Nice and clean bathroom. Exceptional staff. I needed an amendment to my rented car booking, and staff went out of the way to help and assisted with my planing of my long drive from Durban to Capetown to Johannesburg. Food was great, there was a signature dish for the breakfast, but I dont remember the name. There is a nearby...

I had a fantastic stay at the Concierge. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully designed. The staff are friendly and super helpful. The best part for me however was the great grub at the Freedom Cafe.....great job Neil and team.

Can't help but love visiting spaces like this, where there are incredibly beautiful things to see wherever you look, from the collection of protea inspired ceiling lamps, to the hexagonal printed gown, and tongue in cheek, peekaboo shower. Each and every one of the staff members were friendly, pleasant and eager to help. While the the selection of breakfasts is...

The Concierge has the character and charm you won't find in a regular hotel. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and the bathrooms have quirky glass shower cubicles, but.... 1. I had a room overlooking the carpark, while for the same price I could have had a room with a verandah and palm trees facing the road. 2. My...

Went on a much needed solo trip after 2 weeks going around SA with friends. This boutique hotel gave me what I needed. My room was very well appointed, clean, big bathroom. The mini bar selection are well thought off, they even have their own wine. So much details are into this boutique hotel that is quite impressing. The staff...

This boutique hotel is in the morningside area, which is closer to downtown and the beach. You could be alarmed by the side drive to the are, don't despair, it really is secure and quiet lovely. It has a homey feely restaurant, beautiful to seat outside in summer. It is however amongst the residential area so there might be a...

I stayed here for business, don't really have complains. The area looks a bit dodgy perhaps, (we went for dinner one evening and saw "the ladies of the night" around the corner from the hotel), but luckily that was only 1 night. The hotel have free Wifi, and includes breakfast. Rooms were nice and clean, quite spacious too. Friendly staff.
