This hotel has a good location. We arrived and the owner was very friendly and gave good directions for food. The hotel itself is run down. Our room was shabby, lots of sunlight coming in through the old door and a piece of plywood covering the bathtub. It just didn't seem clean, so we slept on top of the bed...

Stayed here with my daughter and her two dogs. We initially planned to stay a week, but plans changed when her long term accommodation notified her that they had an early availability. We had already paid our week here. The owners were understanding and refunded our money for the remaining nights. Monica was very friendly and allowed us to choose...

This was our second visit and the owners were in Vegas buying supplies, so we didn't get the legendary welcome from Taco, the dog, who was sulking. You will get a flavour of what to expect as soon as you pull into the parking lot, so if you've forgotten your sense of humour, go elsewhere. Nothing wrong with the rooms...

Stayed here 3 times. Love this place because it is un-homogenized- plenty of "normal" places half a mile north. This is a Mom & Pop with neon and murals. Smile, relax, and enjoy. The buildings are old, with original plumbing; pressure and flow are low.It takes a while for hot water to reach the sink and shower. Hot water will...

We stayed in the Legends room with two queen beds. Enormous room with a kitchen (we didn't get to use - it has a sink, fridge and microwave). Spotless clean. Comfortable beds. A bit chilly when we first arrived but the room soon heated up nicely. Several people have complained about the plumbing but the shower in this room is...

Old motel with some updates. Love the commitment to Route 66 in murals that line outside. Rooms are themed. We stay in John Wayne. Staff had overload of info at check in. Taco was there to great us and did a trick for a treat. Nice dog!

Quirky 2 star motel with loads of fascinating history and an owner who gives a great introduction. We booked three rooms for a family of 10 for just 1 night. All rooms have a movie star theme and are clean and comfortable, although getting the right temperature in the shower is a real work of art and the wifi is not good.Everything else...

Perfect stop for Route 66ers. The owner was very informative about the history of the hotel and the area. The hotel and surrounding grounds were quirky and nostalgic of the Route 66 Era. I had only one complaint, I didn't have any hot water. Which was disappointing. The pool was not filled but I was not wanting to use it...

My Family and I had a one night stop over here on the way from Vegas to Grand Canyon. Having never done the Motel thing before we were a little nervous. We received a lovely warm welcome. Our room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom was a little dated, but super clean and functional. All in all it was a...

When we arrived, the man at the desk (the owner, I suppose) was very kind and friendly and gave us a lot of informations about the motel, the city and their history, but... The room was very poorly maintained and cold and the heater didn't function. Furthermore, the bathroom was ridiculous, with a very little and scraped sink and the...
