This is a unique older one story motel with several buildings from the heyday of route 66. You check in at the front office with the owner and his dog and get lots of current/historical Kingman info and some entertainment too! You choose your room based a Hollywood star's name and accurate room photos in a notebook. The exterior walls...

This cute little motel gets 5 stars for charm, kitsch, and it's Route 66 address. It gets 3 stars as a motel. Combined, that works out to 4 stars for me. LOVED the cute factor of the place, the VERY friendly owners, and the themed rooms. Also liked the cleanliness, the comfortable bed, and the coffee left by the microwave....

Nice hotel that stays true to it's roots. Themed rooms that harken back to when Bob Hope and his troupe stayed here to entertain the troops during WWII. Just ask the friendly owners and they will happily share the history of the hotel and the surrounding area.

We stayed on our way from grand canyon to hoover dam. Very clean and affordable right on historic route 66. Taco the dog did his tricks for his treats. Owners were very professional and full of information about the area. Would stay here again without a doubt.

We had a fine stay at El Travatore. We had the Liz Taylor room next to the newly refinished pool. Though the pool was repainted it was empty and too cold to swim anyway. The owners were very friendly and talked our ears off about local history (we enjoyed it). Loved the room, bed and tv/internet. My only reason for...

The service was very personal. She went to the room and turned up the heat and left the key for us while he checked us in. You can tell they are very proud of their hotel and their town, and they should be. It's a great place. Taco, the dog was also great and helped welcome us. If you want...

Quirky, authentic, charming, historic and just good fun. This motel sums up everything about route 66. Rooms are big and clean. Not the most modern, but who cares, this place oozes charm. The owners are warm and friendly and will tell you everything you could ever want to know about kingman and a whole lot more. No trip along route...

If you want quirky this it. The owner/manager is outstanding. Even though it must have been close to 100 degrees in his office he insisted on showing us how well his dog " Taco" could roll over.... Not once but twice. He then took the time to make sure we had a good grasp on the menus of five or...

We met Taco, he is very cute and loves to be scratched. This is a Kitschy place. Our bed was comfortable and got a great education about the area from the owner. This is fun, room is clean. Not luxurious, but a great value for the money.

This hotel has a good location. We arrived and the owner was very friendly and gave good directions for food. The hotel itself is run down. Our room was shabby, lots of sunlight coming in through the old door and a piece of plywood covering the bathtub. It just didn't seem clean, so we slept on top of the bed...
