This is the second time I stayed there. The hotel staff are really pleasant and helpful. It does seem like a hotel that gets a lot of traffic at times as there seemed to be a big group of police officials staying there during that week. Perhaps they were having a conference there or close by. I will however like...

I got a terrible service from Hotel 224. First they messed up my reservation despite several follow ups to confirm my booking and left me and my wife stranded on the streets of Pretoria on our first time visit to south Africa. To secure our reservation upon early arrival, I called several times and spoke to Mbali notifying her that...

The Hotel is not posh as they come. But its a great location with good views of the city. A pretty tall one too, am staying at the 11th floor. The rooms are pretty small, especially the bathroom, but they are really practical and function for the on the go business type. The conference room on the ground floor is...

This hotel was booked for me by my (economical) management so I do not know what it cost. I’m not sure exactly what qualifies as 3 star, but this really did not meet my expectations. The rooms and bathrooms are very small, and the bathroom fittings are very old. The bed and bathroom were clean, but carpets “everywhere” (bedroom, passages...

It was easy to find the hotel. Signage was perfect. The underground parking was a challenge as there are structual pillar between the parking bays and only room for a smallish vehicles, definitely not a Ford Ranger. With the pillars in place, you can understand the predicament management has with larger vehicles. The security and hotel staff were very helpful...

Hotel 224 in Pretoria is a budget hotel by all senses of the word....BUDGET... The rooms are clean BUT I have seen many many showers bigger than the entire room. The fact that it is very compact and small is not the biggest problem but this hotel caters for a very specific clientele and the normal business person, should really...
