Chantel and her mom Marie have created a place here that everyone should experience at least once. The hotel and surrounds transfer you to an otherworldly experience. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Great, priceless art, brilliant staff, quiet surroundings, beautiful (mostly indigenous) trees in the lush garden and tasteful touches throughout make for something truly special. Don't miss out on...

I have read the previous review regarding the person’s unannounced visit. We are regulars at Restaurant Mosaic and The Orient for the past 6 years. We love fine dining and enjoy Chantel’s award winning cuisine immensely. The gourmet wine tasting evenings is something we try not to miss - the attention to detail during these evenings is simply outstanding. We...

Super impressed with this hotel. Decided to stay here for one night after a long flight from Hong Kong before my trip to Ghana. Aside from the gorgeous decor, was happy with the fabulous food (including breakfast, most breakfast at even luxury hotels are pretty boring affairs, not here.) Service was wonderful and felt like visiting a friend's house (palatial...

I have been to the Hotel and restaurant Mosaic previously en enjoyed the experience. Today I decided to show my partner the Hotel to possibly book a weekend away. We were refused entry saying they are too busy and no one can show us around, very disappointed.

Dear Ritha B I received a call from you on Saturday on our busiest time in the Restaurant and Hotel. I explained to you we are filled to capacity, and at the peak of our service with all the members of our small team busy tending to our guests in the restaurant and hotel. As we are a Private Hotel,...

Hosts are very gracious and Marrakech Suite we stayed in beautifully appointed. Suite is quite spacious with king bed, huge bathroom with lovely grand tub and even a private living room. Had breakfast on our private balcony with a...

In an awesome setting. The rooms are tastefully furnished with many special touches. Service is 2nd to none, Mari and her dedicated team ensure that your stay is top drawer. Added to this the food on offer and it just makes for something "Extra Special"

This is the perfect weekend escape. It is relatively close to both Johannesburg and Pretoria, but still very rural. It is a small hotel in a nature conservancy, built like an oriental palace. Very "fake", but it is done with such attention to detail that it becomes charming. We had a large and very comfortable room with a private patio....

We stayed one night at the hotel for my husband's birthday. From the minute you enter the property you feel as if you are in another world in another time. The gardens are lush, the Moorish architecture of the hotel is beautiful, the décor is lavish. And the food is just incredible!!! I can honestly say that this is the...

We went for dinner and stayed over. What an incredible experience- the rooms are just exquisite. Like an Indian Palace - and Chantal's food - just incredible how talented this lady is. What a privilege. The wine collection is surely one of the best in SA- not much more I can say. This was a 6 star stay
