We just visited Fernwood Manor for 4 nights and can only recommend that you stay here. We stayed in room 10 which has a separate small bedroom off the main room which served as the perfect sleeping arrangement for our 3 year old daughter. Breakfast is delicious (plenty of both warm and cold options) and the staff is very friendly...

We stayed at Fernwood Manor for 6 nights following a recommendation from a friend back in the U.K. It proved to be the perfect start to our holiday! We stayed in the beautiful Almond Suite which had a wonderful view of the mountains from its spacious balcony. I like watching the birds and this was a perfect spot. All the...

It was refreshing entering the Fernwood manor. The most friendly and helpful staff with the ideal beautiful location. Check in was a breeze and my room was perfect - spacious super clean with a touch of luxury. The bed was comfortable and everything has a homy feel with a very well stocked mini bar! The breakfast lounge is cozy and...

From the moment we arrived, we felt so spoilt! The staff is super-friendly, the rooms were beautiful, the garden is gorgeous, the breakfast was outstanding, the location convenient...it was just great! The crackling fire right next to our breakfast table was a special treat. As we attended a show at the Baxter Theatre on Sunday afternoon, we requested a late...

Spent 4 nights in this lovely boutique guest house. We knew we had made the right choice the moment we arrived at the driveway. It is situated in an immaculately clean and green residential upmarket neighbourhood, with views of Table Mountain from some rooms - like ours! Sally and her excellent staff made our stay a very comfortable one. All...

I stayed here from the 30th of April to the 2nd of May 2016. I travelled for work and this place was so comfortable that it started feeling like home. The breakfasts were amazing and freshly prepared by the chef. The Charlotte Rhys bathroom products also ended up being a nice touch.

We stayed here with another couple for 9 days on the first leg of our South Africa trip. It was a terrific stay in every way. Beautiful property, lovely room, great breakfast every day, every person on staff was a pleasure to deal with. We'd stay again with no hesitation.

When you are in Cape Town and don't want to be in the city centre or near the waterfront then this definitely the right choice for you. Situated near the mountain in a quiet part of the suburb makes it a very tranquil experience. From the friendly staff, the great meals and the great entertainment areas there is something for...

We have just had a six night stay at this glorious luxury boutique guest house. It has all been said already. What a beautiful place, the attention to detail is amazing and nothing is forgotten. So peaceful and Almond Street is charming, but within easy reach of the city and other suburbs. The staff are quite wonderful and absolutely nothing...
