This hotel is fabulous. Very well located in a vibrant and safe area of Johannesburg surrounded by upmarket shops and restaurants. The hotels service standards and second to none. There are a variety of room sizes and standards and the pricing is quite reasonable. A great choice.

It's not easy to pull off being a hotel for business - very nice meeting room facilities - while at the same time having that boutique feel with low lighting and nice design. The African Pride pulls that off really well and is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in on business for a while. Because my wife was...

I was delighted to be back after some years and that standards had been maintained. Check in quick and friendly as was check out. I had a corner room, long and thin but with all the amenities I expect. Nice and quiet. Bath is separated from the room by a curtain but the shower and WC have a door and...

Enjoyed a business trip there. Terrific staff that are friendly and ready to accommodate. Well appointed, nicely decorated, quiet. In a safe area with pedestrian streets where you can walk to 5-6 restaurants alone. My only issue is there is a heavy perfumed odor in the hotel that permeates all common spaces that bothered my eyes.

The service is very good. The check in works smoothly. The rooms facing in toward the garden/pool area get a better view. The rooms themselves are modern and well appointed. There are some great touches like free water and free M&M chocolates daily. There are also 2 small yellow ducks waiting for you in the room and you are invited...

A really nice boutique hotel set in the modern and safe Melrose Arch area. The hotel is modern, with a small pool. The rooms are well appointed and city boutique chic. The breakfasts were good.
