We visited the newly renovated Westcliff Hotel for sundowners a few weeks ago. From the moment you enter the gate, the services is impeccable. Friendly faces greet you and are eager to help you or point you in the right direction. The deck provides the most spectacular views of Johannesburg and with the current Jacaranda trees popping out everywhere in...

No need to put down many words. This is one of these classical hotels where everything seems to go right. Wonderful rooms with superb views. Outstanding service overall - extremely well trained staff. Nice and trendy restaurant Flames on a top floor overlooking the city of Johannesburg. Apart from that this is an extremely child friendly hotel with a separate...

The property is very nice but the service is haphazard. There was no Hotel Doorman when we arrived and couldn't find parking as the usual parking is apparently being used for storage. Driving around looking for parking and then having to leave your car at some random place takes away from the experience of the hotel. Once we found parking,...

After 18 months going through a massive face lift the iconic Westcliff Hotel now carries the Four Season flag , the first in South Africa. If you were a guest before you will Inevitably compare the product . Sadly for me most of the charm is gone . My favourite feature was the elevated infinite pool overlooking the gardens and...

Except for the delays in breakfast and the set up for the breakfast where all food is on order rather than a buffet, the stay was great, staff very courteous, logistics was good. Reception staff need more thorough training on check-ins and outs.

After a 16 hour flight from Atlanta, the Four Seasons is a great place to recover. About 30 minutes from the airport, the hotel was built on a mountain. The lobby on the lower level is just for check-in. The two restaurants are up the hill and feature a very cool elevator to reach them. We dined at Flames, very...

Absolutel stunning hotel. Upon entering the hotel, you are instantly transported out of Johannesburg and into a luxurious world. The service is on another level. If you live in Joburg or just in town for a quick visit, this hotel is a must stop for afternoon tea time or a sunset nibbles and drinks.

First time at a Four Seasons Hotel and I'm positively impressed! The hotel is in a beautiful setting, the surroundings are very clean and well kept. Flames (one of the restaurants) has a wonderful view and a superb brunch. Don't miss it! We stayed in a premier king room - highly recommended. Huge bathroom and nicely decorated. Just two things...
