We stayed with a large group, getting several different rooms. It was nice to have a fridge in the rooms, and the place was overall comfortable and clean. The pool was not very clean when we were there, but we weren't spending much time at the hotel anyway. We spent our time in the evening hanging out by the pool,...

We stayed at Didiloni Lodge from 16 to 30 April. What awesome weather in Johannesburg at that time! With the ceiling fan in the bedroom of the Eagle suite kept us comfortable at night! The suite was very comfortable and we did not want for anything. The fresh fruit on arrival was a great stopper after our long flight. Roulien...

Nice wild game theme to the accommodation, the rooms are authentic and interesting. well maintained and clean. A pleasant and well price overnight-er. Located near Roodeport area, no far off the N1. Actually not a hotel but self catering units

Peaceful, quiet, restful and comfortable - basic tenets that sum up Didiloni. Located in the quiet and secure neighborhood of Quellerina near Roodeport, Northcliff and Fairlands, Didiloni is the place to stay if you want a bit of peace and quiet, relaxation and just a clean and comfortable place to stay in when doing business in the area. The self-catering...

We booked out nearly the entire lodge for a dance championship held in Randburg. The owners gave us a fantastic price. The rooms are cleaned daily. We made use of the pool and braai area a lot. This is really a nice feature as one does not have to stay locked up in their room. The owners are German and...

We arrived 00h30am on Christmas Day ! As I knew most shops would be closed, they kindly went shopping for beer, wine and meat etc. So that we could enjoy Christmas lunch by the pool. Nothing was too much of a problem, even as they prepared for their own Christmas lunch. The Hippo suite was great, a traditional wooden design...

Unfortunately I was not very happy with Didiloni. I booked for two couples and paid in full, only to arrive and be told our room was given to another guest and they only had one place for one couple. I was really not happy with the overall treatment. They discovered the double booking way before we arrived and did not...

We had a great 4 night stay here with friends in Feb 2012. I couldn't find the lodge on Trip Advisor beforehand, and ended up booking on sleepingout.co.za where there were several positive reviews. As many of the reviewers on there have mentioned, the hosts are very welcoming and friendly. The lodge is easy to find, and very close to...

“The Elephant chalet backs onto the Hippo bunkhouse braai area. The Elephant chalet is gorgeous (my sister stayed in it), but we had a rowdy bunch staying for 2 nights in the Hippo bunkhouse. The owners did their best to keep things as quiet as possible, but this is Africa and things go at their own pace! The other cottages are set further back and to the other side, so were much quieter during the bunkhouse occupation. The Warthog is situated right by the pool, and there is a path right outside that leads from the other cottages to the pool”
