This is a little oasis in the middle of Johannesburg. Within easy walking distance of a super safe Melville walking street. The guesthouse itself is run by Natasha a delightful woman who keeps the place looking great. It is possible to stay here and maintain your privacy. The rooms are well appointed and the breakfast is excellent. Highly recommended.

We spent 5 days here - every minute a pleasure! Conway and his team made us feel at home from the very first minute. The room was great - breakfast very special and Conway´s Tips for activities helpful and informative. No question about it - next time in Joburg: Lucky Bean is it!

We began and ended our South Africa Trip in Johannesburg. On our way in, we were only going to be in town for one night, leaving early the next morning for Cape Town. We would be arriving on a 16-plus hour direct flight, so I knew we were going to be fried and exhausted when we landed. After a bit...

This is definitely a nice guesthouse in one of the more active areas of the city, just 500 meters from 4th street, where restaurants and bars are located. Unexpectedly after new year eve everything was closed down so we did not really enjoy the area; the guesthouse is nice with a little swimming pool and delicious breakfast in the morning....

We loved our stay here - the room and (guesthouse garden and pool) was beautiful, the food delicious, the staff and owners so welcoming, and the location fantastic. We were picked up at the airport, and the owners organised a great tour of Soweto for us, and had some great recommendations for other things to do in Jo'burg. Melville is...

They helped us arrange transportation to several places we needed to go in town. We felt nicely looked after by the staff. Our room was not air-conditioned but did have a...

The guest house is situated in the trendy Melville area of Jo'burg. We were staying for one night with an evening flight the next day so wanted somewhere giving easy access to bars/restaurants etc and this fit the bill as many bars and restaurants are a 5 minute walk away. We arrived on a late Friday afternoon and were met...
