First visit to Forest Hall & most likely will not be our last. We were very pleased with our accommodation which was in the cottages furthest from the main house. The quality of fixtures & fittings was good & with our own covered stoep it was easy to relax & enjoy ourselves. Our guests also enjoyed their accommodation next door....

Thank you for your review and feedback. Pleased you enjoyed your stay .Just for the record . None of our rooms are equipped with air conditioning ,all have ceiling fans and additional countertop fans to place next to your bedside. The ceiling fan has 3 speed settings to adjust accordingly. Generally this seems adequate for most seasons in Port Elizabeth...

Forest Hall Guest House has a wonderful, heart-warming atmosphere. It has a lovely outside area and a beautiful garden with pool. The breakfast is good and the host is very nice and helpful. We had a wonderful time there!!!

We loved Forest Hall - beautifully finished rooms in a lush and quiet setting. We enjoyed staying somewhere removed from the main beachfront area (about 15 - 20 minute drive), and found the hospitality and facilities excellent. The breakfast is very good, and we would definitely stay here again.

The rooms and en-suite bathrooms are large and very luxurious. Our family occupied three suites, and all were excellent. Nice touches like biscuits, tea/coffee and a sherry decanter in each room. The rooms are spread around the grounds (which are beautifully maintained.) There is a pool too. Excellent full breakfast. Can't fault a thing, and we would certainly stay again...

Very pleasant operators, but dated decor and limited facilities. Quiet and a bit remote from restaurants or other services if you don't have a vehicle. Wonderful breakfast, wide variety of options. Nice grounds but don't think I'd swim in the "Roman"--water looked a bit funky.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write your review .We value your feedback and input. We first stayed at Forest Hall two years ago and were impressed then. Recently, we stayed for one. Night and am pleased to report that the high standards have been maintained. If you want a first class B&B for a short stay, then this is it.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Forest Hall Guest House as we did our practical Training in PE for three month. The hosts James and Hillary are very friendly and always helpful! They can give you nice recommendations for activities and restaurants around PE and also for the garden route and cape town. The accommodation itself is lovely and...

I was there with the family feels more like a classical boutique hotel than a B&B. Service is excellent the kids enjoyed the trampoline and pool. The venue offers lots of tranquility. We will certainly use this venue again when we are in PE.

I took a short trip to Port Elizabeth recently and was recommended Forest Hall guest house by a member of my family. I was pleasantly surprised. Hi David Thanks so much for your wonderfully positive review. So pleased you enjoyed your time at Forest Hall .We hope to see you back someday again in the future . We did look at putting air conditioners into units when we were doing renovations but it was during the load shedding time in SA so decided against it ....
