We last visited Bella Manga and its owners Ray & Fiona Berresford some years ago and were knocked out by the attention to detail, luxury and friendliness of this establishment which offers both B&B and self-catering facilities. Set on 200 acres of lawns, pastures and forests, Bella Manga has 4-star accreditation and this is evident in every aspect of the...

We had a marvelous time staying at Bella Manga lodge. We did not know what to expect but found a quant and absolutely lovely dwelling in the middle of nature. Lovely comfortable lodges with soothing quality to them. The staff was an absolute marvel, exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The best. We truly had a blast staying at Bella manga and...

We were travelling along the Garden Route and stayed here for a couple of nights in a converted silo which was full of character if a little cramped and basic. We were a little apprehensive about the insects that were able to find their way in under the stable door. However it did have an excellent power shower and a...

We weren't expecting to be out on a dirt road, but it turned out to be convenient to getting into Plett, and the owners were very helpful with great restaurant recommendation (Enrico's). Lovely place.

We have just spent 4 wonderful days at Bella Manga. This tranquil retreat offered comfortable and well maintained accommodation. Fiona's kitchen exceeded all expectations with delicious full English breakfasts and the opportunity of home cooked evening meals on request, which we took full advantage of. The warm welcome we received from Ray and Fiona extended to the two beautiful friendly...

Lovely welcome after long drive. Felt very much at home. Breakfasts were fab. The accommodation was varied and comprehensive and can cater for all requirements from secluded self catering cottages to rondavels and b&b. Any requests or observations were immediately attended to. We are very happy to recommend Bella Manga and hope to return. Ray & Fiona should be proud...

We had a nice African round house, loads of good tips on things to do and enjoyed the tranquility of the place. Owners were very friendly, good place to relax. Pool and garden were also nice to spend a late afternoon before dinner. We recommend the place.

We all have those friends who make the best hosts: they welcome you into their inviting homes, give you tips on how to experience the best their town has to offer, and know how to prepare their guests a delicious meal with gusto. This is the Bella Manga experience-magnified of course, by the beautiful countryhouse and surroundings Ray and Fiona...
