We've stayed at Mountain view Manor for 3 consecutive years in a row, whenever we visit Grahamstown. The rooms are beautifully furnished and comfortable, with spectacular views of either Grahamstown town below you or of the rolling hills on the other side. If you love walking, hiking or just a general run in the mornings, then this is the place...

We spent 5 nights at the Mountain View Manor and had a very comfortable and pleasant stay there. Our room was large and airy, the beds clean and comfortable and the bathroom, with shower and bath, spacious and clean. The views from the ridge were spectacular and the breakfasts were good. The staff are obliging and honest, as demonstrated when...

Clients in Grahamstown booked me into the establishment stating that I wouldn't be disappointed and they were right! A lovely homely feel to it with a friendly welcome by the staff that carried the case upstairs as I was on the top floor in a extremely large room over looking Grahamstown at night! I awoke the next not with my...

Friendly staff, great views and really wonderful beds and showers! Staff supplied braai equipment and access to the kitchen to self-cater even though the self-catering unit was booked. Good breakfast and sparkling swimming pool. Fantastic sunset with 360 degree view.

We stayed at Mountain View in Grahamstown on our way back from the Drakensberg on the evening of the 27th. The establishment was very accommodating and allowed us to check in at 11 pm. The accommodation is neat clean. The breakfast was great. Thank you Victor for the hospitality.

The Manor is situated high on the hill overlooking Grahamstown and surrounds plus the mountains and terrain from the Katberg to the sea. Being high up expect plenty wind. On the east side of the Manor you are protected from the dominant west wind meaning the room windows can be kept open - needed in the hot summer days as...

We were in Room Number 8, at the top of the B & B. It was a lovely big, spacious room. TV. Kettle, tea, coffee, sugar(take extra sugar and Rooibos tea for yourself). Coffee renewed daily for the coffee bodum. Rusks renewed daily. A great welcome on returning to the B & B, cold and in need of sustenance. Hairdryer...

Mountain View Manor is perfectly perched on the top of the hill overlooking Grahamstown. With amazing views all round my wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in the Crows Nest, which was a self catering unit behind the beautiful main building. The room was clean and felt very cozy. We found staff very polite and got...

Although the location is beautiful and the room comfortable, its hard to feel welcome. We stayed in the self-catering cottage and the toilet seat was broken - one couldn't sit without falling of! It was on the floor when we arrived. We struggled to find help and didn't get much of a response when we reported it. When we checked...

Had breakfast in the dining room in the morning which was delicious. The...
