This place has never been updated since it was built and operated in the heyday of route 66. I don't think the filter for the AC/heater has ever been cleaned as a dusty/dirty smell permeated the room when it was turned on. The dinky towels must also date from the days of route 66 because they were threadbare and dingy...

This was the most disgusting room I have ever stayed in in my life. Dotty Patel behind the front desk was so rude that I wanted to reach over and slap her head off. She was outside hovering around the door 15 minutes before checkout time say it's time to go. Never ever stay here. I'd rather sleep in my...

We were going to stay here. But found it to be quite dirty No plug ins in the room. The bathroom was a total mess. The bed looked like it was from the early 50's. The light that was on the wall had a 50 watt blub and the room was so dark you couldn't see. The manger was very...

We liked the name and the outside appearance (it was late and we had been driving a long ways). However, once we checked into the room, we looked around, looked at each other, and left for the Quality Inn down the road. We didn't even ask for a refund. The furnace grill was so dusty we felt sick just looking...

I live in Holbrook but had friends traveling through they stayed here and it gave them a bad impression of our town. Staff is RUDE and the room smelled terrible. Places like this remind you of the Bates Motel from Psycho and it was just as scary. I had them ask for a refund and they were told no. HORRIBLE.

This is a nice little motel with simple rooms and with a real atmosphere of day's gone by. The restaurant next door doesn't look much from the outside but it was actually pretty good. We went there for dinner and the next morning for breakfast with a good experience on both occasions. Route 66 nostalgia at it's best!

My brother and I were on a Route 66 road trip. Our one restriction was that we would not stay at any chain hotels. On our trip thru Holbrook, we found the Motel 66. Keep in mind that this is an original motel from the hay day of when Route 66 was the main road. It is not a Hyatt...

We had stayed at another motel along Route 66, so I thought this would be another simple room. When I started the shower, the smell was AWFUL. I thought it had to be the curtain, so I showered with the curtain open. It wasn't the curtain. Afterwards I made the mistake of brushing my teeth which left an oily texture...

A tiny woman who spoke broken English came from a back room chewing food from a meal. I asked her if a room for 2 was available and she asked me what I was looking for. I told her I wanted to have good WiFi and she started carrying on something about stupid people who just complained and that if...

The Indian lady was rude and the rooms were small and outdated. They really need to renovate there and improve customer service. Would not stay
