Just happened upon this lovely little place by a phone map search on the way to So Cal for a funeral. Price was reasonable, but once the new manager found that we were going from eastern KS to Southern Ca. for my mother in law's funeral, she immediately gave us a larger downstairs room (so that it would be less...

This place is great! The lady who checked us in upgraded our room for no extra charge. The room is clean comfortable and has everything you need. Coffee maker microwave, ice box, tv with lots of channels. It is also right across the street from some great places to eat. We stopped for the night on the way to Phoenix...

We hadn't been to the Buckskin in over 2 years, and on our way home from a slightly delayed trip to Sturgis, SD - we decided to stop in Heber, AZ on our way back to the Valley of the Sun early the next day to avoid the heat. The town and motels are very busy for this Labor Day...

We did an overnight here on our way home to the Valley after riding in AZ’s high country for a while for work & to escape the summer heat. Have read other reviews bemoaning the lack of A/C but since we’re from the Valley of the Sun we were very comfortable with the windows open and the ceiling fan. So...

Friendly owner, clean room. Rooms a spacious. Bathrooms were large and had the amenities a traveler would need. Plenty of towels. The decor is rustic and older. The T V was a flat screen with cable. We had room 7. Enjoyed our stay. Recommendations for dining were perfect. Loved the courtyard with the BBQ's, wind chimes, trees, tables and benches....

Checked in for a week on a trip to the Mountains. It seemed reasonably priced and upon arrival it was clean. It went right down hill from there. After the first day out we returned to find that our room hadn't been made up. We figured it was an accident and let it slide. The next morning before going out...

Hunter(s) saving a buck at the Buckskin Lodge. I do apologize for your less than stellar stay with us and that we did not meet your expectation of the Hilton Hotel, during your hunting expedition with your buddies. Please note our policy states that linens and towels, with a little extra just in case, are expected to last during your...

We just recently visited the Heber area so we stayed at the Buckskin...we've stayed here multiple times in the past. But after this visit we'll probably wont stay again, the rooms are nice, bed is firm, it's clean. We do miss the original owners, they were so so nice, we miss their friendliness and fairness. With that said we we...

It's a blast from the past. Quaint, old, very clean but lacking in basics such as AC! Windows had to be left open so all the road noise is annoying. Curtains also didn't cover the whole window and people walking by could see right in to the room. The bathroom was clean but small, no room on the sink to...

Stayed here for 4 nights. The rates were very affordable. The only drawback was the fact that they would keep 25% of the prepaid room rent if you had to cancel. I didn't so it didn't matter to me. The room was clean and had all the amenities I needed and the staff was extremely helpful. I was there with...

Friendly service and clean rooms. Lots of pillows and fans. Air conditioning would have been nice. Had to sleep with windows open to stay cool and road noise was a problem. Patio was a great gathering place, with lots of shade, tables, and benches. Two grills for use, but no very clean. Would stay again!
