This place is horrible, I’ll never stay there again. The lobby stinks, the hallways stink, and the rooms stink. The elevators are filthy. Our room got cleaned 3 times in 7 days. We had Kleenex in the room finally on our last day. I had to ask for a do not disturb sign. The refrig

Be careful as this hotel operates under 2 different names, Lexington and Centerstone. Manager was not helpful when hotel was booked twice in error (due to it having 2 different names) manager was screaming at me when I called for resolution. Just don’t do it. Restaurant on-site i

We stayed a couple of days in scottsdale. This hotel is fountain hills and the location was perfect. It has a lake right across the street with a nice park. Our view from our room was overlooking the lake. Our check in and check out was simple and fast. The staff was not all t

After being overcharged the previous night in norther AZ we were looking for a bargain. This was it. Very nicely appointed suite. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Lighting was a little darker than most hotel rooms if you were planning to

5 stars because I have never had a better bargain. $50 including tax for quiet, clean room with excellent tv, a/c, view, and shower head. Lobby is great- looks higher end. Check in is a breeze. No hassle. Hallways are nice. Room is big. Shampoo and conditioner are good - so

a note from the management said this motel get an update/REDONE. is this true? it sound like a bad motel. im staying in april 2015 and im scared its a gross dirty motel. and ideas; suggestions would help. thank you
I wouldn't characterize the place as gross and dirty, and I'd probably stay here again, because it is convenient and reasonably-priced. But it can be hit or miss. The hotel sent me a survey after my last stay, and when I listed my concerns with the place, the manager responded by saying: "...our transition to the Lexington was to upgrade the hotel, which we are working on. By your next visit, all of our carpets should be changed, and the property will look a lot better. The carpets are the main reason for the overall "dull" look of the property. Once the new carpets are laid, the property will look brand new. " So I think he missed the point regarding all of my concerns, which I reiterated in my TripAdvisor review. If you do stay here, the only thing I can suggest is that you take a look at your room when you check in, and if the room or the bedding doesn't seem clean or comfortable, ask if you can get a different room. From what other reviewers have said, it sounds like some of the rooms have been updated. I wouldn't stay on the third floor again, because I think that used to be the smoking floor, and the third floor "non-smoking" room we had last November still smelled a bit like smoke. I'd be pleasantly surprised if the common areas (elevators, hallways and ice machine areas) were clean now; these areas never got the attention they deserved when this place was a Holiday Inn, and from what I observed last fall, the Lexington has continued that sad tradition. But the rooms were ok, and the staff did respond promptly to all of our concerns. The service and food in the restaurant can be hit or miss also. The restaurant manager is very nice and accomodating, but he is not always on site. As others and I have noted, there are several good restaurants within walking distance if you don't care for the on-site restaurant (the Fireside Grill).

"Absolutely need to upgrade and modernize!"
"My only negative was not being able to use the Jacuzzi since I couldn't get the water warm enough. The handle on the hot water was not adjusted right. It would turn very easily, but not change the temperature of the water. I hope you look into this issue as I would love to stay in this room again and use it. Thank you! "
