Beyond my expectations for the cost. Friendly and professional staff. Comfortable, clean furniture. Plenty of space for long term stays but not overwhelming for short term/ overnight stays. Location central to food and entertainment but not in an overly busy area.

In my 34 years of life, this was the worst hotel experience. It took them TWO hours to check me in and when they finally did, they gave me a stinky room. It smelled like cigarettes. I’ll never ever return or recommend it to anyone.

We stayed 4 nights over Thanksgiving and requested our favorite room #125 on the end. However when convenient n we checked in the smell of cigarette smoke was SO overwhelming we requested our next best room #122 .That room did not have a microwave, as some do, but we were allowed to use the microwave in the office. No breakfast or package snack was provided, although now most other hotels do. Our door did not close properly and on one occasion when we were gone for the day, we returned to find our door ajar. We had posted the "Do not disturb" sign on the door before we left and double checked to make sure the door was securely locked. We notified the front desk immediately, and they pulled the security logs to see who was in and out of the room. When checking out we asked the lady at the front desk for an update, and rudely asked "was anything taken", and did not have any information. This is a great location, and we have always enjoyed staying here for the price, but with the current decline in maintenance, security and customer service, we will now be looking for alternative accommodation in our favorite getaway town. Kudos for Mike and James for their concern and follow up concerning our situation at the time.

Mike was at the front desk when I checked in and he was unbelievably accommodating and helpful. Check in was quick and easy and my room was exactly what I wanted. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Verde Valley.

It's so weird reading other rating on how it was a great hotel. This is probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I've stayed in Super 8 hotels before but I felt very disgusted and dirty staying here. As soon as I opened the door to my non smoking room, a smell of smoke and old carpet hit me. The pillows were thing and the comforter was very old. The carpet looked liked it hadn't been vacuumed in months. To top it off the lock from the inside didn't lock. I woke up the next morning and asked to have my room changed. The second one was even worse. The smoke detector was hanging by a wire above the bed. The vent cover was missing in the bathroom so the dirty fan was visible. There was hardly any water coming out of the shower due to build up on the shower head. Comforter had cigarette burns on it. Carpet and towels were dirty. I can seriously keep going. There was not a clean up service done either (might be due to covid). It is in serious need of renovation. I can't believe I paid money to stay here. I'm not high maintenance but this place was less than decent. The room was way over priced. And I'm really curious were the people who said it was a "beautiful" hotel because I stayed in 2 different room and they were equally disgusting. My personal advice is to stay away.
