Went this past weekend for a women's retreat. Grounds are fabulous. Serene, spiritual. Rooms near registration far more superior than in two story building across the way. Bring your own shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer etc....no tv. Weird for me but was perfect for the retreat I was attending. Meals served three times daily were fabulous. Salad bar always well stocked....

I have stayed here annually for a retreat event that happens in late February and early March for over ten years. The center is an oasis by itself with peaceful surroundings and well prepared food. And yet is close to interesting shops and restaurants for those who want to leave the Center. The accommodations are spacious, but it is a...

Room was huge! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Food is excellent. Location is handy. The grounds are a desert museum unto itself! I was here for a 4-day conference. A fully self-contained conference center. And a restful place to recharge.

We stayed at the retreat center for several days. It was very nice and the people were friendly. We liked it so much that we contemplate it as an annual retreat location. It was also perfectly located to be able to walk to restaurants and even a grocery store.

Spirit in the Desert is well named, as it is an island of peace and retreat which might come as a surprise after driving through the heavily populated Phoenix area. The location has become an annual destination for me to join a group for study and fellowship and, as such, it is more like a coming home than a travel...

There are outdoor fountains and paths, and the sky is clear and bright at night. Rooms are large and comfortable, with private patios that look onto great views. The food was wonderful. it was a perfect...

Great place for a retreat and amazing views. I stayed here for two days on a company retreat. Good location outside of Phoenix, excellent food, very friendly and accommodating staff and free WiFi. I would definitely come back.

Spirit in the Desert is located in the beautiful Carefree AZ desert with spectacular vistas and amazing trails and areas to explore. The retreat was head in a terrific center that has wonderful accommodations. The hospitality of the staff rivals that of nearly high end resorts costing much much more. This center is a place for reflection and understanding one's...
