We were on our way to Winslow AZ,( of course...where else would Eagles loving fans go in Northern AZ?) when we passed Cameron Trading Post & pulled in for a quick look-see. We did a very quick look at the jewelry cases, local items and checked on how late they would be open. After Winslow we went back to Cameron for...

We arrived here around 8 pm after a long day visiting the Grand Canyon. We were given a ground floor room, when entering the room it smelled musty and we immediately noticed a large cockroach on the floor. We notified the front desk so they switched us to another ground floor room that did not smell as musty but we...

NO ADA (handicapped) rooms as advertised. Bed light had a completely unassempled lightbulb socket - VERY dangerous (Room 102). No soft chairs or couch, only two wooden chairs. Almost impossible to sit on. Television required you to lay on the bed. No handicapped parking for the motel. On the plus side, they did refund me in full - requiring me...

This place is very well maintained and. Ivey furnished with local decor. An easy drive from the east entrance of the Grand Canyon. Balconies are an added bonus with an awesome Canyon view (see photos)! Reliable wifi. Nice that the restaurant and convenience store are on site.

I spent 6 nights. The furnishings right down to the lighting are all Southwestern motif. The beds were comfortable, the TV and Wi-Fi were excellent. That said the linens were a little frayed and one sheet had a small hole in it. It took a several minutes to get hot water, but once reported to management that was remediated by...

Ran into this place by accident after a night in the Canyon. I had a Navajo taco! The best I've ever had. Most of the sandwiches come on fry bread. Delicious food! The store attached was charming. Pleasant staff and many locals.

The décor of the rooms are Native American and certainly not rough. The Canyon is just about 100 yards from the room with great overlooks, although don't expect it to be the Grand Canyon. This is the Little Colorado River which meets the Colorado River at the east end of the National Park about 30 miles away from Cameron. This...

We've actually been staying at Cameron Trading Post for years now. Great value, and you aren't too far from the Canyon. The rooms are clearly from the 70's but in great shape. Lots of wood, very clean, and kind of a kick. Most are fairly large, this time ours had a rear sliding door that opened to where our car...

Room was clean, well appointed, and had a sweet little view of the river. Quiet as well. And the restaurant was very nice. It was the first time I had an Indian Taco, I guess known as a Navajo Taco? Not sure, but it was tasty. Oh, and the wifi was good as well. Can't beat all that at about...
