My husband and I stayed here on our way to the Grand Canyon from Yellowstone. As we were driving through the dessert to get to Cameron, there was nothing around and we were getting very nervous about what we were going to find at Cameron. When we first pulled into Cameron Trading post we breathed a sigh of relief as...

Don't come here for food. The management here really does not care about that. Being 100 years old, come here for the history. Here you can see beautiful art crafts by native americans. The jewelry work is gorgeous if you like silver and turquoise. HIGHTLIGHT: Outside the frond door you will be able to touch pieces of petrified tree trunks....

Unless garish knick-knacks and really subpar food and service are your thing, stay away! Eat the snacks you packed and go in and look at the historic trading post if you must. The Post is in a lovely spot and has an interesting history.

I love shopping here as they have a great selection of Native American and Southwestern items. The restaurant is also fun. It has a lovely view of the little Colorado River and is warm and inviting. In the winter the fireplace adds a nice touch. The food is hearty and good. I had the Bluecorn Pancakes that were very tasty....

Stayed one night on the way to Page. Older setup but very very clean with original decor. Food at restaurant was excellent for dinner and breakfast. Customer service was great in the gift shop. Beautiful and abundant selection of authentic Navajo gifts. Would stay again

Have visited Cameron Trading Post over the years—congratulations on your first 100 years! Never stayed in the lodge before. Stayed overnight, two nights, on the way to and from a family gathering, with my parents. The lodge is beautiful, beds reasonably comfortable, rooms are spacious, nicely decorated. We had wonderful views of the Little Colorado River Gorge. Nice walks along...

We had a fine stay at Cameron Trading Post. The prices were right and the rooms were clean. In retrospect I would stay here again. The one problem I had with Cameron, was the fact that they promote that they are 30 minutes from the Grand Canyon. While this is true, it is very misleading for tourists like myself because...

The hotel was comfortable and quaint, and reasonably priced. However, after a long day at the Grand Canyon, we went to the restaurant for dinner. The four of us sat for about an hour before they took our order, then had to wait another hour to get our food, which was awful. I think this place caters to the buses...

Pulled in after dark following a long day of Basin & Range driving... Booked a room & onto the dining room to order their famous "Navajo Taco" ... I manfully threw a lip over the whole thing & waddled to the accommodation in the "Navajo"building. I found my room to be warm, clean & artisan decorated... The huge meal had...

What a rip off tourist trap. If this is owned by the Navajo I regret having to leave this review because I would like to support them. However, the prices of souvenirs are ridiculous here! At the Grand Canyon gift store in the park you can most of these items 50-100% less. I have been to art stores and shows...
