2021 Travellers' Choice Best of the Best
The newly-enhanced Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora is a South Pacific paradise, combining the highest standards of service with ultramodern comforts and the natural ease and gracious hospitality of the Polynesian culture. Set upon Bora Bora's surrounding coral atoll, the Resort is a vast tropical grove, replete with coconut palms and pandanus trees. Meandering channels of pure turquoise lead to the main beach or to smaller lagoons, waiting to be discovered. Every vista is breathtaking. The Resort offers 108 one and two-bedroom overwater bungalow suites and seven two and three-bedroom beachfront villa estates, all designed with thatched roofs and decorated with indigenous artwork. Four restaurants offer a vast selection of creative culinary experiences, while the full-service spa is balanced by the powerful rhythms of the Pacific Ocean and the tranquility of the island's lagoon - offering an unmatched combination of relaxation and exhilaration.

Just want to send kudos to the entire staff at Four Seasons Bora Bora. They made our trip for my wife’s birthday memorable from start to finish. No task we asked of them was too big, even the few request that were last minute. The entire resort was manicured beautifully and daily the staff was working to keep it as such, this includes our room. We received exceptional service daily; at the spa, beach, pool side as well as the various restaurants. Wish we could list all names but there are too many. We were on lockdown during our stay but the activities in resort were more than enough. Highly recommend! Upon our return home I have already told our extended family this is where we will visit for our post covid family vacation.

This was our 3rd time visiting Bora Bora so we decided to do resort hopping: we stayed at Le Bora Bora, Four Seasons, St. Regis, Intercontinental Thalasso, and Conrad this trip. We were there during the lockdown which didn't impact us as much since we didn't plan on any tours and just want to relax and explore the resorts. This was our first time staying at the Four Seasons Bora Bora and were very excited for our stay as it's often compared to the St. Regis which we had stayed during our previous trip. The check-in process and service was excellent so it gave a good first impression. The hotel ground was beautifully maintained, our overwater bungalow was in good condition with luxury furnishing. However, the refillable glass bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion were disgusting! I get it that the resort want to be eco-friendly but in times of COVID, we were not comfortable on touching those bottles. The body wash was so hard to pour out that you literally need to stick your finger into it to get the gel out, imagine how many people have been doing that? EWWW! The worst part was the restaurants!!! We waited over 45 minutes for the waitress to serve us bread at the French restaurant - Arii Moana. My husband ordered the steak medium-rare and ended up getting a well-done steak! We showed the waitress and after another 15 minutes, he got a medium steak, forget it! Then, at the Asian restaurant - Vaimiti - all the dishes we ordered were super salty! All we tasted was soy sauce! Of the 5 resorts we stayed at, Four Seasons has the worst food! We were expecting it to be on par with St. Regis and we were so wrong! It was such a huge disappointment unfortunately!

Since this was my 2nd time in Bora Bora, I have higher expectations. Especially staying in a resort that comes from the prestigious Four Seasons brand. I get that if it's your first time, you get overwhelmed with the beauty of Bora Bora and the standard service that it blows you away. Since I've stayed at many other resorts in Bora Bora, I was expecting exceptional service from Four Seasons. At St. Regis, the general manager will greet you after check in and let you know if there's anything you need. He can make it happen. Giving you that extra level of service from a high end resort. I was expecting similar from Four Seasons if not more. The service and friendliness of staff here is very subpar. Nothing stand out. The resort is nice. The water current under the bungalow is strong so not for weak swimmers. The positives: - They offer sunscreen and aloe for free - The beds are super comfy! One of the best nights of sleeps I had here. - I love that they have security on jet skis constantly patrolling the area ( but does reduce privacy in bungalows if you like to tan naked) - The overwater bungalows here were super nice - They let you use their app to contact them if you need anything. It was super efficient and convenient.

This was our second visit to the Four Seasons in Bora Bora and it did not disappoint. The views were spectacular. The food was excellent and the service was top notch including the waiter that brought our drinks out into the water! We were not able to do excursions due to Covid restriction in the country but just as memorable of a trip as last time when we could. Can’t wait to return again.

We visited during the lockdown and it was truly amazing. The service was top notch, the cleanliness was a top priority, the bungalow was unbelievable with very comfy bedding, the food and activities were so fun. It was no problem staying at the resort for 7 days. Paddle boards, kayaks, and snorkeling anytime. And the concierge would answer via phone or chat quickly and efficiently. It’s a dream come true
