The St Regis Bora Bora was absolutely beautiful. The clear blue water and the overwater bungalows were exactly as we had imagined, and better. The rooms were extremely large, private, high quality spec and the views were breathtaking. The multiple swimming pools, the lagoon and the water sports available were great. The facilities at the hotel were first rate and...

Perfect hotel, beautiful location and very nice and helpful staff. Definitely the best place in Bora Bora! We stayed the beach villa, which was beautiful, lots of privacy! Gave us bikes to ride around the resort and snorkel gear to keep during out stay. Food-wise a little boring, so if you are are gourmet, might suggest to stick to going...

We transitioned from another hotel on the mainland to the St Regis and this is the Bora Bora I have heard so much about. I did enjoy the other hotel because it offered another dimension to our vacation, but this is one of the best experiences I've had. This is a huge property and the staff is friendly and helpful...

I'm not sure about some of the reviews and was notably concerned prior to arrival based upon some of the less favorable ones, however- our experience exceeded our expectations in terms of accommodations, amenities, beauty, comfort and service. From the moment we stepped into the airport we were treated like VIP's. Everyone was warm, overly accommodating and seemed genuinely eager...

Just stayed for a week for our honeymoon in an OWB and you can't beat the natural beauty of Bora Bora. However, if we had to do it all over again we would probably stay at the Four Seasons. Here's why: - Hotel is dated and worn: We were surprised at the lack of upkeep in our bungalow as well...

You will find no shortage of positive comments about the St. Regis, and they are well deserved. Fantastic service, wonderful lodging, dreamlike surroundings. We were there for 7 days and 6 nights, and never felt like we were repeating activities or experiences. Pre-arranging activities like snorkling and diving made it go smoothly. What would i do differntly the next time?...

This resort is beyond amazing. Our bungaloo over the water was to die for. The interior rooms, the bathroom, the patio leading to the water- all an amazing experience. We were staying farther out from the restaurants, but a golf cart could be called- or a bicycle was available for use. There are only 4 restaurants available- so make your...

Well, that is a good question. French Polynesia is very expensive and this destination has been on our family bucket list for about a decade. Did we plan and save for it? Indeed. We were prepared for the expense. We have traveled the world as a family and this trip was by far the most expensive trip we have ever taken. We did do some things to lessen the cost; packing snacks, taking full advantage of the included breakfast, using flight miles to help offset the cost of airfare, etc.. You may ask if it was worth the cost? Every cent. It really is a destination that every person should get to experience.

You have the option to walk to the various restaurants. You may also ride the bicycles provided by the hotel. Butlers are also available to pick you and and take you back to your room.

We stayed in superior OWB lagoon view in September. LOVED it. It was a little further away from the main resort so a smidge more private. Lagoon view = sunrise view. Which was awesome! Mt Otemanu view = sunset view - which is also awesome, but we stopped in for a drink at Jean Georges during sunset and enjoyed it there. Water is 10+ feet deep in any of the OWB. We jumped in all the time. Beautiful, clear, clean - and easy ladder to climb out.

Have a fabulous time! Looked through the pictures again this past weekend and miss it tremendously.

Go the St. Regis website and it'll be clear where the various classes of OWB are located. For the increased price, I could not justify sunset/Mt Otemanu view. Superior was great. We had sunrise view which was stunning every single day. Sunset, unfortunately, was only spectacular two nights. Honestly, any of the OWB are fabulous and the resort is magnificent, surpassed only by the level of service.
