If you want a holiday out of the ordinary, this is the place to be. We spend 3 days at the Caribou lodge and we loved every minute of it. Being in a place where you only can get by floatplane, staying in the middle of beautiful nature and last but not least: being spoiled by our hosts, Mike and...

Many folks enjoy our place, the wildlife, nature, and life that goes with it. There are some...who come very close to becoming a part of it. You missed little. Getting up at midnight and seeing the two of you sitting on your deck, absorbing up every bit of it, made us smile. Our thanks to you both, and we will...

Happy you made it in and to have you here. Although we are out of peanut butter. And gluten free bread and cookies. Which is fine by me...(actually, they were pretty good too I thought). Hope the rest of your trip went well and see ya next time!

Caribou lodge was the highlight of my Alaska experience. From the moment we stepped off the float plane we were made to feel so welcome by hosts Pam and Mike. The scenery in every direction was spectacular. The acommodations for such a remote area surpassed our expectations. Mikes daily guided hikes were incrediible and Pam's cooking the best. They catered...
