We had the front upstairs room that had a private balcony (room 10) and views of the river and tombs. It was was short walk into town and was very peaceful at night. Our host was very helpful in recommending tours etc. Spacious bath room, comfortable bed, mini fridge, but no kettle (I suppose you could have used the urn...

This hotel is situated across the Lycian rock tombs just by the Dalyan River. Nothing can beat having a beer by the river with grilled octopus and calamari in the evening watching the tombs during the sunset. The owner and the staff are amazingly kind and helpful. Rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable. This is the perfect place for...

Kano unfolds from an ordinary front entrance to an bougainvillea smothered enchanting back garden that ends with comfortable seating at the edge of the delta. Too good to leave, we ventured out only to board the boat dolmus down to the beach directly from the Kano's river terrace. We even had dinner there - delicious grilled sea bass - and...

Visited for 3 nights with friends and were looked after from arrival to departure. The room was small but spotlessly cleaned every day. The service we received from Kaya was outstanding. The view was stunning and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel if you want to experience turkish hospitality at its best.

We were planning an extra day in Southern Turkey, and ended up in Dalyan somewhat serendipitously. We were let off at the front of the Kano Hotel, and were wary. As we explored, we realized that in the back, the hotel was situated along the river, with a lovely cafe and seats to lounge, looking across at the fabulous rock...

We stayed at Kano Otel just for a couple of nights, but I wish I'd booked it for longer. It was the most relaxing hotel, Hasan and all his staff are fabulous. The view across the river to the Lycian Tombs was amazing and beautiful at night when they were all lit up. It was great to spend some as...

The proprietor and staff at this hotel made our stay very pleasant. Always friendly and willing to help (and happy to teach us a little Turkish!). The hotel is right across from the tombs and a stroll down from the main part of town. If you're happy with friendly people and a clean bed and bathroom then this covers all...

We went to Dalyan for a week with our 14 months son for a much needed break. When we arrived at Kano Otel we were greeted with such welcoming but unobtrusive hospitality that we felt immediately at ease even with a toddler running around. Sipping our cold Efes by the river directly over looking the tombs as the sun were...

I booked one night in advance based on reviews, which are rave. Let me recount the litany of reasons. First, but perhaps not foremost, location: it doesn't get better. The Lycian tombs really are directly across the river, perpendicular to us as though they are OUR wall art. It's amazing, calming, to look across the river and see them lit...
