This is a 'basic' hotel. The rooms are dark due to the dark furniture. The beds have hard mattresses and the quilts don't hang down the edges of the bed. We had a good evening meal Breakfast was a bit more spartan as no buffet. We chose our cooked breakfast from a menu which was nicely presented. Our Romanian guide...

I gave this hotel an excellent rating based upon its uniqueness. It was built in the 18th century and has been restored to some extent. Our room was a large two room suite. Furniture was old, to fit in with the style of the building. The bathroom was modern. There is no air conditioning, but we left the windows open....

We stayed 2 nights in September 2016 and expected to be lodged in a hotel with air and elevators since we are not young. However no such facilities were available and moreover the first night we were given a rather small and crowded room.( No 204). See second floor plan photo. The furniture in the rooms is old and in...

Basic hotel located in the heart of the old medieval city. Walking distance from the main attractions. No elevators and no air conditioning. There is so little light in the room that you can hardly see anything. The restaurant in the hotel is good with many choices. Free Wifi in the room with poor reception.

Great atmosphere, old-ish looking rooms but in a good way, great old look inside the hotel especially up the stairs, great inside terrace with very good food, located in the citadel center. Worth it !

Came into Sighisoara via night train from Bucharest and took a two dollar taxi ride to this charming little hotel. It's family run and that makes a big difference as the staff really seem to care about the place. There is a cosy terrace with restaurant and bar out back. The food and the wine are reasonably priced by North...

The hotel is very centrally situated but besides that have got nothing good to say about the hotel. The lighting is the room was terrible, the service in the hotel restaurant was terrible, the breakfast wasn't up to much. One good point, the room was very clean. No kettle in the room. Big disappointment!

This is a charming hotel. They don't have some of the modern amenities that many people are accustomed to, but its due to the historic nature of the hotel. There is no elevator, for starters. There is no air conditioning, so I couldn't imagime a summer stay. We opened the wondow, and it did cool off, but there are no...
