The rooms are fine, but not extra clean, wellness is not up to date, I would give it 2 stars. Staff is nice, food is OK- but you always need to ask for refills. This is not worth the money, I would reccommend to find another hotel.

The hotel room was nice size as was the bathroom. The room was very clean & the staff were very helpful. The hotel offers morning breakfast & you can also get a buffet dinner every nite. we took advantage of the buffet dinner & it was very good but there are restaurants & bars across the street. Hotel and room was clean, staff was friendly. Bathroom really smelled bad (plumbing issue) and buffet food for breakfast and dinner was warm and plenty, fat and tasteless. we traveled for 2 weeks through Europe and never had any hotel reservations. This hotel only offered rooms with breakfast and dinner. It was the most expensive hotel we had, and -... More

The food is delicious thanks to the hotel's own farm. Farm visiting is a special program of the hotel. It's very interesting, don't miss. The staff is very friendly, they can solve every problem. I was traveling with two little children (one and three years old), so i had a lot of special requests. The hotel itself is fine. Has... More

Zalakaros is 200 km away from Budapest, and not far from Lake Balaton, another famous resort place of Hungary. Zalakaros is full of spa hotels, but Aphrodite is unique with his own bio farm where they grow everything needed for home made food based on old recepices of the region. We stayed in the presidential suite, very tastefully furnished, with... More

I spent with my husband 2 nights in the 4 star part of the hotel (Hotel Aphrodite) a year ago. The overall experience was terrible. The staff did not give any information about the services. They did not tell if you park in front of the hotel you should pay for it, but actually it is part of your package... More

We were as a couple in the 4 start part (Aphrodite) in the autumn of 2013. The hotel was very poorish, the lobby is dark and absolutely not nice without any style. The room was the same, shabby and dull. The male receptionist was very unfriendly, and very unflexible, The females receptionist were ok, the owner of the hotel is... More

We spent 7 holiday days in this hotel. We were in 3 star part. 3+ rating for our part was appropriate. Loby was simple, but enough, check in and check out was without any problem. Room has a standard size, clean room and bathroom as well. Shower gel wasn´t in shower, only hair shampoo. Furniture was used, but in good... More

Nice location, close to the thermal bath, easily accessible. Right after entering, visible that is not a 4* hotel. Weird imitation of greek style decoration everywhere, especially in the spa area. Looks like more a sanitarium than a hotel facility, which is small and quite crowded. Sport facilities are OK. (squash, gym, table tennis).Staff is nice, but not so experienced.

We stayed at this hotel, in the 3-star wing, in November 2012 for 2 nights. The location is perfect, just a few steps from the thermal bath. The room is clean, nice and comfortable.
