We are booked for 2rooms and the room with the balcony. We arrived there early morning and the staff name Fan gave us early check in around 7.30 am. (That was very good for us😊) the room it not to bad but they should have Heater in the room will be better because it very cold. The breakfast has no choice. The location was good it near Sun Plaza, Sapa Lake, Cat Cat Village.
On arrival we were taken straight out the front door, up the road and into what seemed to be a shop. Taken up stairs, through sleeping areas and to our apparent room. Clearly not the room we had booked nor the correct hotel. When we brought this to their attention they responded "you just stay here". We kindly rejected that offer and demanded we be taken to the room we paid for. Our luggage was dragged back down the stairs by the staff. We eventually got the keys to our correct room. We had a nice day treck to cat cat village, the day before our checkout. Only to arrive back at the hotel to see all of our belongings packed into our bags and sitting on the floor at the front desk, and being asked what time we are leaving. They packed all of our personal belongings and clothes themselves. Laptops, wallets, money, jewellery, underpants etc... After an hour of arguing I managed to get a refund for the last night only. We managed to get another hotel for the night at 430 in the afternoon. Also they do not supply a buffet breakfast as stated in their description. Avoid this hotel.…
This hotel is not like the photos . While the views are amazing , the rooms were poor. Bed linens were dirty. Bathrooms unacceptable . Walls paper thin . Construction going on both sides of hotel which can be heard thought out night . Glad we only booked for one night.
We had booked this hotel., the room is nice view but faulty water systems, intermittent, water, yellow. Internet is not accessible, the hotel is empty and unguarded at night. create a sense of danger. I would not book this hotel next time
The hotel is newer, but can tell quickly been built, and now falling apart. For example: they installed the air conditioner without the condensation line installed, so after the first 15 minutes the A/C leaks onto the top of the dresser. It looks like they resolved the problem by putting two coffee cups up there to catch the water. The dresser was flooded anyways, complete with fruit flies. You have to go next door to the Sapa Eden View for front desk and restaurant service. You don't know this when you walk in and their are keys on the counter and no one at the front desk, but you will get curious and eventually start looking around. Comparatively, what you pay here is a poor value, poor service, poor property.
We came for 3 days in Sapa One night in the hotel and one at a home stay. We came at 14:30 They were not there because the main building is next to it, so we waited for 5min until they came and gave us the room; We were late for lunch so they made us a good meal, with vegi options. *again the hotel restaurant is located in the main building (next to the hotel) * nice view from the hotel restaurant The hotel is next to a construction but you are nit in the hotel most of the day. The people were very nice, good english. They can keep your bags in the hotel if u are going on a trip In total, small rooms (and not finished all the way), good food Good service
We picked this hotel after seeing some positive reviews. It's well located and the staff are friendly and helpful. We booked the Junior Suite for a single night and had intended to stay longer however we were disappointed. Our room was on the ground floor and for some reason there was a hallway with tables and chairs out the front. The wifi didn't work in our room which won't bother some people but is frustrating when you paid good money for the best room and you need to plan the next leg of the journey etc. The bathroom was average and the basin tap didn't work and they didn't provide water. The worst part is that this hotel isn't really manned - the staff are often at their sister hotel next door. Not a big deal but the first day we were asked to leave our key at reception. When we arrived back, there was no one around but our room key, along with several others, were just sitting on top of the desk for anyone to grab. After this we quickly made plans to move hotels. …
Staffs are helpful, friendly, and the hotel manager even sent me a short email about how things will go in Sapa, just few hours after my reservation. They had bag storage, public restroom is clean and tidy, perfect view (limited seats outside, so better be early for breakfast), and fast wifi (I'm surprised how well the wifi is in Sapa).I like the room as well; it's spacious, equiped with magnifying (zoom) two-sides mirror and has enough outlet/plugs. But have to be careful when searching this hotel. It is written 'Sapa Lodge' instead; which seems to be the name of holding company. I don't think there's any major disadvantage. Probably location-wise, it's a bit distanced to city quarter, and official tourist information center (10-15 min walking up), but still totally near to places to eat anyway. …
This hotel is clean and our room was very spacious with a balcony and amazing views. The bed was a real treat, so comfy with cotton duvet and sheets. Tea, coffee and water also provided. The only problem with this hotel is that it was hard to look at a room initially as they leave the building with noone inside it a lot of the time. My boyfriend and I literally searched every floor and couldn't find a single person, but clean bedroom doors were left open....totally insane! Anyway eventually someone arrived and we discover their partner hotel is the next hotel along the road. They checked us in and took our passports, all very normal and later when we asked for them back they went and got them from the partner hotel. The buffet breakfast was served next door between 7-9:30. We arrived just before 9 and a lot had gone but they replenished things when asked. They also cooked a few things fresh to order like omelettes, pancakes or noodle soup. We were satisfied with the breakfast and enjoyed the views whilst eating. They also organised our onward coach travel and a taxi pickup to the bus station. They even came to check we made it to correct bus. Their customer service was excellent. We would definitely return. We do think they need to keep someone at reception though as it seems like madness leaving the whole building open and unattended. …
Arrived after a 7 hours trip from Hanoi, and then had to climb stairs, no elevator. The room was clean and tidy, however there was no safe and no refrigerator and the air-conditioner was not working properly. there were excellent views across the valley from the window, but this does not help with security matters. Do not leave your key at reception as there is only somebody manning it occasionally, staff can usually be found at the sister hotel 3 doors away and gives the possibility of thieves taking the key and going through you room. We stayed one night and moved to another hotel the following day as there was a staff member present at reception on 2 of the 10-15 times we passed by there....
