Clean, very nice view of the mountain and valley. It’s close to town center yet serene and quiet. The hosts are also receptive and welcoming, and is truly detail-oriented. We will certainly stay again whenever we come back to Sapa.
Had an amazing time at this home stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were able to organize a hike through the value with the hotel which was the highlight of our trip to Sapa. Unparalleled value for money and amazing view on the rooftop. Highly recommend!
One of the best hostels / homestays I've ever been to. Excellent location, staff, and facilities. Diego and Hannah were incredibly helpful, nice, funny, and collegial with me and the other travelers I was with. Very accommodating in every and all requests, whether that be for tours (definitely recommend the trekking!), booking motorbikes / transportation, or having laundry done. They made our stay unique and exceptional! The location is tucked away right in the city center and in walking distance to just about anything you may want to do within Sa Pa. The rooftop was really great, and the views for sunset were spectacular. I thought the bedrooms were nice and comfortable (the shower was particularly great!), and I appreciated the ample luggage storage. Mega View is excellent value for the price (incl the great 50K breakfast), and I will certainly be back when I'm in Sa Pa next!…
We came to Sa Pa to escape the heat and craziness of Hanoi. We didn’t have high expectations for Megaview Homestay, but it exceeded our expectations. The location is very central to bars and restaurants. The owner and his wife are terrific. We had only booked two days and we stayed for 5! We stayed in a private room and the views were amazing (when the weather cooperated) so we can’t speak to how the dorms were. We loved the trekking activity that the hosts booked for us. Being able to hike around the rice paddies and into the remote villages was a highlight. The only negative thing we’d say is the steep slippery stairs to get up and down from the main square. I slipped while bringing our luggage down at 3:30am. After doing several hikes/trekking the stairs get harder each time you go into town.…
Great comfort, ultra friendly and helpful owners. Town centre location, great food. Diego and 'no name' are lovely and the food is great. We stayed two nights - one I the Dorm which was very quiet with excellent facilities and one in a private luxury room.
Really awesome experience staying here! I stayed in the dorm and it was very clean, spacious and comfortable. There’s also a separate locker room so everyone’s items aren’t cluttered in the dorm room. Dorm came with a toilet but there’s also toilets outside so I rarely had to wait to use the toilet. The owners are super friendly and welcoming too! I ended up extending my stay here for 2 more nights because it was such a nice place. The only thing to note for people with access needs is that it’s slightly off the main road so you have to climb / go down a flight of stairs each time you leave / return to the place.
I returned to Sa Pa after 3 years away, and contacted the owner of Mega View. He used to own Little View Homestay nearby. Though I loved it there, this is much nicer. Dieu, the owner, and his family, are phenomenal hosts who are always trying to help if you have the slightest problem. Sa Pa is a human highlight reel of photo opportunities. However, if you can't climb hills and stairs, you will have a problem. The rooms are large here, and ours had amazing views over the valley. We had balconies with tables and chairs for morning coffee. Beds were very comfortable, breakfast adequate, and rooftop providing more beautiful views. I HIGHLY recommend staying here... but have good, comfortable hiking shoes!!!
the room is big, quite and clean. The breakfast is ok, the service is very accurate as the owners (a couple) are really friendly and professional : a sincere help in solving any problem or necessity or desire you have. great. Sa pa is nice and the area is fantastic, for trekking but also for motorbike tours to the countryside villages.
A great experience from start to finish - The best home stay we’ve ever stayed at. Diego and his wife were amazing hosts. Their compassion and hospitality were wonderful, they helped us with everything. The rooms were clean, modern and perfect. I could not recommend Mega view enough to travellers it truly was the zenneth of our travelling experience. You have to stay here!!!! The best place in Sa Pa
Mega View Homestay was fantastic. We had a delicious breakfast and very comfortable private room. We appreciated the relaxed and social atmosphere. The staff were friendly and hilarious, and have the sweetest daughter. They allowed us to keep our bags in their lockers while we trekked, and got us set up with bus tickets and laundry. We can’t recommend them enough for your stay in Sapa.
