Though the hotel was amazing, what really made our stay so amazing was the hotel staff! They were all so amazing and exceeded my expectations, especially Chau and Vuong. Chau helped so much with everything and was so friendly and helpful, always smiling and an absolute pleasure to deal with, she really made our stay here amazing!
Outstanding service, beautiful hotel, extremely clean and comfortable rooms, fantastic facilities. My partner and I stayed for 3 nights and it was without a doubt the best hotel we stayed in in Vietnam. The staff were incredibly helpful throughout our stay, offering us a free upgrade, allowing us to check in early, providing us with free tea when we arrived and offering genuine concern and support when my boyfriend was unwell. We cannot thank this hotel enough for their hospitality. The facilities are great and the rooftop pool is stunning, you are literally swimming in the mountains. The beds are very comfortable, the rooms are large and well maintained, well above the standard of most hotels in Vietnam. I cannot recommend this hotel more, thank you for everything!
The rooms & view is beautiful. Especially the stuff is so nice and helpful. It was the best accommodation in whole Vietnam for us! Sa Pa in general is quite nice especially the view and the nature around.
My wife and I have been here three nights. I have as yet not been able to take a shower. The first room we were in flooded the bathroom when we tried to take a shower. They did upgrade us to a suite but try as we might the shower was either scalding hot or ice cold. No In between no matter how we tried to adjust the controls. I would rate as a two or three star at best. The food is mediocre. The laundry fees are astronomical. For our small laundry it would have been nearly 1000,000 vnd.($50.00) We had a driver take it to a local laundry service for 80,000 vnd. ($4.00). Television is in and out. No air conditioning working so you need to open the balcony door and the entrance door to get air flowing through the room. The pool is nice and they have karaoke at the bar but nobody seems to go there. They need to do better for the price.…
We have stayed in the hotel in November 2019 ( I was not able to select this option). It is truly one of the most wonderful hotels we have stayed in. The hotel was very well decorated and clean. The view from our window was amazing. The service and breakfast was exceptional. We were even given treats such as free cakes during our stay. The hotel is definitely of a 5* standard and we highly recommend it.
Unable to cancel trip after the government announce new wave of Covid-19 .No support from hotel whatsoever also unable to change date . Customer support service is useless and give very vague answers for our query
It was great experience with Pistachio! I love the way of the reception as well as bell/door man here welcoming and serving clients coming to the hotel. The room is good, 4,8 stars for it. It will be excellent if the exhaust fan in the bathroom works better.
Our experience with Pistachio was absolutely horrific and maddening. It is as expensive as other resorts, but unable to offer the same amenities and courtesy. Upon arrival, we were told our room wouldn’t be ready as they would be upgrading us to a higher floor. We appreciated that effort. To not waste the day, we opted to use the rooftop pool and subsequently found out that the rooftop pool is not a heated pool. When we initially asked if the pool was heated, they giggled and said, “no! No! It’s too cold. The pool is best to use when weather is the hottest, between 11am - 2pm.“ However, they told us that the pool is closed from 12-2 every day for cleaning and maintenance. So you give us recommendations of when best to use your pool, but the best time to use it is when your pool happens to be closed anyway. What a terrible impression to leave on your guests. They decided to give us access to the pool. When we went up to use the pool, we notice that a special feature of the rooftop pool is being able To have breakfast served and enjoyed on the pool. However, when we asked if they offered lunch by (not in) the pool, they said no, absolutely not. Bizarre. Upon check in, they also told us that the bus shuttle, the spa, the karaoke room are all unavailable right now. Despite having many employees standing around, none could operate a car for the shuttle. And the spa and karaoke room? Undergoing maintenance. On top of that, both the heated pool on first floor and rooftop are closed at 7pm—in addition to closing 12-2pm. For the price you pay, you expect to be able to enjoy the many amenities that the hotel offers—yet the hotel offered none. And the biggest selling point, the pool has unnecessary restrictions where there should be none. An average hotel pool hours are 6am - 10pm. Not only do they close during the hottest time of the day but close early too. The room itself is beautiful with a nice view. We decided to make the best of. We went out for a drive and decided to cut our dinner short for an evening swim only to return to the smell of wet paint and cigarettes. The heated pool is in an enclosed room on the 1st floor and it just so happens that the crew decided to paint the pool room, which made it difficult to enjoy the pool when there’s inhalation of newly applied toxic paint. They didn’t even wait for the pool to be closed, when there would be no pool users to then paint. Inconsiderate indeed. When we were on our way back to our room, the elevator was reeking of paint smell and the door opened to the lovely smell of cigarettes, despite there being a no smoking sign. The smell trailed all the way to our room, and it turns out our neighbors were the culprit. Later in the evening, we tried to adjust the temperature, we thought it was done, but later in the night it became suffocatingly hot. It was clear we didn’t turn it on. So I called the front desk and they said to just “turn it off and wait,” because apparently the staff controls the whole temperature for the building and then locks it so that no one can change to the temperature they need. Can you believe that? A “resort” controlling and locking the temperature so that you cannot adjust it to whatever you are comfortable with. To make matters worse, our smoking neighbors thought it would be appropriate to talk loudly at 10pm then later at 1am—so loud that it woke us up, these are not sound proof doors, but they were excessively loud. Then we were unable to sleep in the night because it was so hot. So maddening hot that we had to leave the balcony door open throughout the night to let some air in! Their breakfast is just about their only redeeming quality. We opted not to do a lot of the things in Sapa to try to enjoy whatever little amenities the hotel had to offer—especially since we paid such a healthy sum. We ended our sightseeing early to enjoy the pool before checkout and went up at 10:45am, for them to tell us that we must “do them a favor” and leave because someone else had reserved the rooftop pool area.. and that “actually, the pool is closed from 11-2pm” not the 12-2pm that the front desk had initially told us. But they said, come back at 11:15am they will make an exception. My boyfriend returned at 11:15am to which they said that their reserved guests were late and that we can return at 11:45 instead (checkout is at 12pm). As if the timing wasn’t annoying, they chose to cater to one particular group and shut down the area so that hotel guests could not use it. When we were on our way to check out, we called the front desk ahead of time to make sure to have a taxi at 12:45 and we confirmed twice. And yes, you guessed it, they did not have it ready. They looked shocked and questioning us as if we never called to ask. No taxi. Not at 12:45/12:50/not even 12:55. This place is a mess and a waste of money. Completely unprofessional. It's fraudulent what they did. If you’re going to be so strict with your guests, have your house in order. This hotel is laughable. Do yourself a favor and stay at Silk or Pao, which was where we were initially going to stay and regret that we didn’t.…
Maybe you think my title maybe a little bit over, but trust me, Pistachio is so far the best hotel I have ever stay in Sapa. I am a Vietnamese and I love Sapa very much. I have been here every year for at least 3 nights each year. I have stayed in many different hotels, from the low cost to the very expensive one, but this hotel is the first one I feel I am having a good deal. The quality of interior is great, the breakfast is good with variety of food, the bar on 12 floor have good drink. I am highly recommend everyone should try to have dinner hear. Honestly, the food for dinner is really good. However, the only one thing I am not happy is about the car park. This car park is quite messy. It make my first impression not good enough. Overall, for about $150 per night here, this Hotel is perfect.…
Stayed here with my boyfriend for three nights and absolutely loved it! The hotel is beautiful and in a good location, and the views from our room and the rooftop pool were amazing! The staff are so lovely and friendly, especially Sara on the front desk and Bing who helped us with our luggage. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to be back again soon!
