Matra Bali Guesthouse & Yoga is running by balinesse nice and friendly family, great and friendly staff with a good hospitality. Matra is a great place to stay, spacious rooms, open bathroom, good internet,3 minutes drive to the beach, 11km from Ngurah rai airport, 500meters away from local traditional market, shop and restaurant walking distance. Our Yoga place Pranava Yoga is on the mid of rice paddies with the green atmosphere, high positive energy vibrating and the best yoga teacher with a many years experience.

I've been staying in Matra guesthouse with my friends for new year. And guys that was just freaking awesome! We have been drinking beer and local hard alcohol and chatting while eating awesome local food like little lobsters and delicious fish ECT The host and his friends was super friendly and talkative they told do that kind of party every year. Some of my friends decided to extend their visas and stay longer 😅 Highly recommend, the location is good close to Beach and party area but if you don't like parties place is very quiet and chilling.

Matra Bali, has been a home away from home. Over the past 3 years I have been living between the U.K and Bali. The Matra family and staff have done everything possible to make me feel at home and welcome in Bali. Matra is a really safe space my room is bright, spacious and clean. I really feel like part of the family here and part of the local community! I highly recommend staying here, its wonderful.

We've been in Canggu for 3 months now and have stayed in multiple Airbnb options within the same budget during our time here. As a couple of digital nomads, this has been mine and my partner's favourite place to stay by far, and we will no doubt return here when we're back in Bali. The location was perfect for us. It's just around the corner from their sister property which has a great coworking space and cafe. It's also surrounded by great cafes and restaurants (Secret Spot & Pelaton being our go-to's) that you can easily walk to. The beach is also super close, no longer than 5 minutes on the bike. As for the rooms, we stayed in a deluxe room which is big and spacious and comes with a fridge, wardrobe, mosquito net for the bed, black-out curtains, and excellent wifi connection, which are all very much appreciated after going without them for a while at other places.…

I stayed almost 1 month and the experience was the BEST. The staff is super nice, everyone helps you in whatever you need. They make you feel at HOME every time you come back. The rooms have the perfect size and really CLEAN. The location is great, you have beautiful cafes close and the best yoga studio in town just a few steps: PRANAVA YOGA. If you’re staying here, you would get a discount. The beach is 20 min walking or 5 min by scooter I definitely recommend this place to stay. I’ll be back very soon.

We moved to Bali in January and have been bouncing around and finally found our home Matra! We absolutely LOVE living here, this will be our 3rd month living here at Matra. Our biggest thing was to find a place that is budget friendly and also have a co working space. This place has it all they have a separate property down the street where you can go to work and its included if you stay at the guesthouse. You also have Yoga right next to you with a beautiful view of the rice fields. My two favorite things about living here is you have the most friendliest and helpful staff as well as their adorable pets which include 3 dogs and a few cats :)
