It is such a pity to see one of my favourite hotels in such a poor state of repair. It is now badly run down and the wooden stairways leading up to the rooms are in a very dangerous condition and urgently require replacement. I have stayed here many times over the last 20 years. I really enjoy the gardens....

This place is like a 2 star hotel with cottages offering self catering and rooms as well. The standard room is like a servant quarter and you have to pay 5500 per night for a single which is a reap off. I requested hard and was given a free upgrade to superior room but compared to the price it was...

I stayed in a room rather than a cottage for the first time. I have stayed with my family at the River Lodge for more than 30 years in total - it is one of our favourite places to stay around the mountain. The mountain was completely clear and the view from the swimming pool is magnificent. Climbers share their...
