The room I stayed in was filthy. The inside of the cabinets and dresser drawers were covered in dust. The chair in front of the TV had trash and food crumbs in it and the entertainment system was plugged into an exposed outlet (no outlet faceplate). Then when I went to leave the exit doors to the parking lot were...

We had the best experience at the Eagle Hotel. Rooms are large and come with a variety of amenities. Ladd, the owner, went above and beyond to make our first trip to Alaska terrific. If you want the Alaskan feel, then the Eagle Hotel is where to stay. Planning on a return trip very soon. And to Ladd I have...

This is a typical AK away from Anchorage hotel in look & condition with obviously recent improvements. The beds & some bedroom furniture have been upgraded well beyond typical. Comfortable mattresses; nice bedding & spacious rooms. People are very pleasant & prices are very reasonable. Nice place to stay in the valley!

We arrived on July 4th at about 11:00 p.m. The room was interesting to say the least. There was a large stage/platform in the corner of the room that was larger than the bed. There were bare lightbulbs in the ceiling. The light next to the bed did not work. The A/C fan unit blew hot air so we had...

Ladd is still doing a good job to improve the hotel. The beds were to soft for people who have bad backs. They need to be a little firmer. They need phones in their rooms. One did not have a lamp in it. The toilet was low to the floor for some handicap people. I felt like i was about...

Had a one night stop over and when we first approached the hotel asked ourselves what did we get ourselves into! Hotel is old however they have done some work to the inside. Rooms were spacious and clean. The one complaint I had was that the day we were there it is up near 80 degrees, there was no AC...

We arrived on a Sunday evening, when the restaurant was closed, but fortunately there are good alternatives within a short distance. The room was spacious and well-equipped, the beds were good, and the hotel was quiet. Obliging service. friendly people.

I initially booked our stay calling a booking service to book two rooms. Unfortunately one of the two rooms I had booked was not booked properly and they had no record of it. The staff of the hotel was very helpful to accommodate us even even giving us one of the rooms for free. The rooms themselves are nice and...

I stayed at the Eagle Hotel for four nights, and I have no complaints. It's a little old, but that's okay because the room was clean and big, and the staff and management were super friendly. It's also in a great location in the middle of the beautiful town of Palmer. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely...
