After hours of trying to book a room in Seward, decided to see where we could stay outside of obviously crowded Seward and just drive in for our sighting tours. So glad we did. The rooms are clean , comfortable and have a peaceful setting on a lake. No crowds - enjoy the beauty surrounding the lodge - and make...

We had a hard time deciding on a place to stay for this leg of the trip. After much debate we decided to give this place a try and I am very glad we did. First of all, the pictures on the hotel site do them an injustice...they should really take newer pictures of their rooms and post them. Anyway,...

Beautiful location right on the lake. Only 1/2 hour or so from Seward. Great pies for dessert! Decor/interior a little dated but clean and functional. Good value when compared with Seward summer hotel rates. Friendly staff.

Our experience was amazing. Came for three nights and the lodge and Moose Pass is the ideal Kenai location. The owner helped us in advance of our trip, booked our fishing trip on the Kenai (woke up at 5AM to get us situated, coffee, cinnamon buns and packed us lunch for fishing). We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the...

I stayed here for 5 nights with a Road Scholar group. The "motel" is several decades old, and rooms are small and quite simple. Do not expect luxury. But you CAN expect a clean room situated on a beautiful lake, surrounded by mountains. Moose Pass is tiny and quiet. Just as we left, salmon began running in the stream adjacent...

This didn't come up when we were googling lodging on Seward Highway or we might have stayed here, but we stumbled in for breakfast and the food was amazing! So was the view! Service was very good, seemed family run/owned. Prices were a little high so we were leery, but it was so good, and portions were great.

The setting is beautiful. We were very satisfied with our room in the lodge. It was just as shown on their website. Others among our tour group stayed in the motel and were unhappy with the size of the room and the dated appearance. I did not see those rooms personally. Staff was very friendly and helpful. All our meals...

My visit to Trail Lake Lodge in moose Pass Alaska was absolutely beautiful. The lodge sits next to a lake where there's float planes flying in and out, mountains & trails, restaurant & bar. The Alaska Railroad passes by there about 3 times a day. A quaint little town with the friendliest people & a wealth of knowledge of the...

We couldn't have been more pleased with our choice to have our August wedding and reception at Trail Lake Lodge. Everything was wonderful - the serene setting, the food, the owner and staff. Our wedding ceremony took place right on the lakefront behind the lodge, and the reception was held in the beautiful wood pavilion right on the lake. It...

On kenai peninsula' great area, nice lodge, great food, cozy bar. Good central location to hike, flush, raft and explore. From glaciers to running salmon, the things to do were outstanding. Family owned, Trail lake lodge was friendly and provided everything we needed to really enjoy Alaska
