The cabins reminded me of old hunting camps back in PA. It was a beautiful property with great and unseen potential by the owners (They are a great older couple!) The cabins are older but so quaint and again reminded me of PA. The cabins could REALLY use having the carpet being pulled and putting down or using the wood...

Wild Rose Cabins is by far the best place I've stayed at in Homer. There were a total of 5 of us (4 adults) and we were able to rent a cabin where we could all stay together. Cabin was spacious, well stocked, and well kept. Beautiful view from our cabin. We could watch the planes take off from Beluga...

We were in the Raspberry Cottage for four nights and it was just perfect for us. The bed was comfortable, the cottage heated up seemingly instantaneously, and the kitchen was well-stocked. It was very roomy for just two of us and there were two additional twin beds, so it would be perfect for a family. There was plenty of room...

Wild Rose Cabin was our home away from home for 3 nights. It was a cozy cabin with a tremendous view. Where else can you lie in bed and see Kachemak Bay? The cabin contained a full kitchen, frig, stove, queen bed, comfy chair, table w/4 chairs, WiFi and a grill. Books and magazines were available in the cabin. The...

We spent four nights in the Kelly House in early August and can highly recommend the place. The Kelly House sits just above the Wild Rose main compound so it has some of the best views on the property. It's a full split level home with plenty of room to spread out and it's on the hill just east of...

After two+ weeks of fairly scheduled flying and driving around Alaska we'd planned to have an end of vacation chill-down time for 5 days in Homer before heading back to the UK, and wanted a slightly more spacious, comfortable, home-from-home type of place from which to do a bit of bear watching and play it by ear. In booking The...

Can't say enough about Wild Rose Cottages--Very clean-very comfortable-There were 3 cabins, I believe one was a 'duplex' and it was more protected by trees and had it's own driveway. Ours was called Raspberry Cottage. It had 2 bedrooms, full bath and the kitchen, dining & living space was one big space sectioned nicely. The cottage had windows which presented...

We are currently spending our last night here at the Raspberry Cottage at Wild Rose Cottages. This will be night 8 and we will definitely find it difficult to leave. First, let me say the most incredible thing about the Raspberry Cottage is the view. Being 2.5 miles up East End Rd., we have a stunning view of Beluga Lake...

Ann, the owner was gracious & very helpful. She knows all the businesses, fishing, shopping, restaurants, etc. in the town. If she's not sure of something, she'll find out. The setting was just beautiful with a great view of Kachemak Bay. The cabin was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. She made sure we had plenty of coffee and brought fresh cream...
