Room: Dorm (7bd from memory). I was the only guest so had my choice of beds and the one I took was quite comfortable, but in testing them out I found a few to be slightly less than desirable. But no worse then any other dorm in Alaska really. The dorm room is quite large but…
Great place to stay in Homer beautiful views clean comfortable rooms big kitchen. Mossy and Sarah were very friendly and helpful. Our group of six all in our 60's loved our stay. Definitely our favorite of all our stops in Alaska
Lay in bed listening to rodent(s) scrabbling in our grocery bag in the night in Crow's Nest room. Came in through hole in closet we guess. No hot water in half bath that we used. Packed up and left at first light. A little too "working farm" for us!
The meadow at Seaside farms is a very nice campground! Well manicured soft grass with a group campfire at night.Nice location a few miles outside of Homer. Reasonably priced at just $15 and a few minutes walk to the beach!
What a nice place! Owner is so kind! The cabin "Seashell" is just perfect, so cosy with a woodstove. And the view: awsome!! We camped too, and the view is very great as well! We will come back. It was just like a dream!
"Wildflower cabin has electricity!"
"The cabins are more secluded better for couples and families. If you are traveling alone the rooms at the main house, or else the camping field, are both better options in terms of value. Camping is great for families as well."
"Go and let yourself become "Alaskan" for a while - you may not want to leave!"
"Avoid the bunkhouse."
""Crow's Nest" room in the guest house is over the kitchen and dining room area, along with its noise from the young people working on the farm who gather there. Maybe the cabins are more pleasant than the guest house?"
