This has been such a amazing place to stay! The owners are ao kind and make you feel like your at home! They even played games with my kids and let us cook food so we didn't have to eat out. They made us feel like we were with family! I really hope to be able to come back!

We stayed at the Guardhouse in mid-Sept. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms feel like a nice hotel. The rest of the house is spacious with a large deck. Absolutely lovely. The view is breathtaking as well. We'd stay again.

We stayed for a week and I have to say it was like staying with family. The owners Phyllis and Joanne welcomed us in to their home and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. We stayed for a week and hated having to leave. The rooms are clean, spacious and have comfy beds. Our room had 2 queen beds,...

We stayed one night and really liked our room. The owner greeted us and made us feel comfortable. The room had 2 large queen beds, table, fridge, tv, internet access, and bathroom. The room was very roomy and nicely decorated. The bathroom was tastefully decorated. Cereal, toast, home-made english muffins, bananas, coffee were offered and included in our stay. We...

This is a real bed & breakfast. The owner grew up in this house and converted it to a B&B. as with any 100 yo house it is a work in progress, so things aren't perfect. But the bedrooms are beautiful, beds comfy, and living room spacious and welcoming with a cozy fire. The night we arrived they were making...

We had a beautiful room, with two Queen beds and a nice clean bathroom. The room also had a small refrigerator and microwave. Phyllis and Joanne were gracious hosts and provided a wonderful self-serve breakfast. Thanks for the delicious smoked salmon! It's the best we ever ate!

Kitchen and garage were dirty, the refrigerator, smelled like old cheese, the garage had so many empty wine "boxes" and beer bottles strewn about that you could barely walk. The owners are friendly, and somewhat helpful, coffee was excellent. Parking is almost non existent, and when we were there the sidewalk was barely maintained and extremely icy. Room was pleasant,...

We arrived on a ferry from Skagway at 6pm and were met by Phyllis from the B&B and given a tour around the town. We walked into town and to the supermarket then back to the B&B and were invited to join our hosts for a drink and a chat. Our room had 2 large beds and was well appointed...

What a disappointment this place was. The room we were allocated (room 4) did not live up to the description on the web site. It turned out to be basically like a basement and was quite cold and depressing. On speaking to the owner she agreed to change us to room 3 which was very light and airy. Security does...

“The room with its own bathroom was really nice.”

“Check out the website to have a look at them or call and ask about them. Either Phyllis or Joanne will be able to help you decide what would suit you best. All of the the rooms in the house are warm and comfortable. If you stay here in the warmer months make sure you take advantage of the sunroom. Great place to have your morning coffee. The view from there looks over the Fort and the mountains. Actually any view from the Guardhouse is perfect.”
