Actually, this place was our favorite camping spot after three months on the road. It is in a totally natural, scenic setting far enough off the road that you do not hear traffic. You can fish and hike right there without having to drive somewhere else. You can not see a neighbor from your site so it is private. The...

We were traveling in a rented motorhome with 5 adults and had a wonderful experience at Tolsona Wilderness Campground. Most sites are next to the creek and feel secluded even though there are many sites to choose from. The bathrooms and showers were roomy and clean, laundromat was available and dump station and water were easy to access. The attendant...

We stayed three nights at the campground this summer, and the hosts were wonderful, We had a lovely spot along the river. Quite at night, and has any number of fun things to do near by. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed at this campground July 2016. A nice man with a dog greeted me at the entrance to the office. The person in the office was very nice and attentive. We decided to get a tent site far from the office because there were a lot of mosquitoes at the sites near the office. Saw some old moose scat near...

My husband and I have resisted the urge to purchase a generator for our fifth wheel, which means we have had limited options for campgrounds with secluded sites here in Alaska. So we were thrilled when we discovered this campground! From what we could tell, pretty much all of the camp sites are secluded and back up to Tolsona Creek....

We stayed here in our 36ft motorhome. A great campground half a mile off the main road but well worth it. Peace and quiet, lots of trees and great choice of spaces to park rv with plenty of room. Creek runs through the property. A lot of sites have power and water, all have campfire ring. Wifi works well near...

We have been to this campground twice over the years. Both times we have enjoyed it. The campsites are all along a winding narrow river. Some have more privacy than others, but all in all each has its benefits. The wifi has been nice. The new owners are very nice to work with, and accommodated my large family over a...

This overnight was so nice we almost stayed another night. Nice spots by a little stream and had hookups if you wanted it. Nice and quiet too. Would love to come back here and spend a week. Each site has a river view. Highly recommend this a wonderful spot.

It was hard to believe I could park my RV along the river in a private spit and have water and electric hookup! I stayed an extra night it was so nice. Private and quiet. Friendly staff, reasonable showers and restrooms. If you want to be in the woods but have hookups, this is the perfect place. Tolsona Creek is...

Kathy at Tolsana was super nice and helpful. The campground is clean, lots of private sites, good electric and water at many sites. Fit our 30' trailer and Suburban combination and had a free dump site to boot. Wonderful place to stay - we stayed on the way in and twice on the way out. Will definitely come again if...
