We did not enjoy our stay at this B&B. The accomadations were fine. But Bridgett made us feel like we were staying with a very stern grandmother or maiden aunt. Her nastiness started when we had'nt called her to tell her we were running late.( I was dailing her as she called us) I explained to her that our plane...

I hate to be negative but feel I have to be honest to help other travellers as I use tripadvisor to help me plan my trips. I do not usualIy post bad reviews, I usually just keep quiet. I had a few concerns before I booked here but decided to go ahead anyway. Big mistake - you should go with...

We would not stay at this B&B again because of the attitude of the owner. She was abrupt and it may have just been her personality, but there was definitely not a warm and fuzzy feeling in the air! If you are going to have guests in your home you should try to make them feel comfortable.

We stayed with Brigitte for 2 nights and found her to be an excellent host. She recommended some additional activities which made our 3 day mini vacation perfect. Great location for going north to Independence Mine, Matanuska Valley, and Palmer, but very close to Anchorage and its attractions. If you want to see the Alaska Native Heratige Center, and Anchorage...

We took the Garden Suite for 3 nights. The place was absolutely clean and cozy. Good location and enough parking for the guests! Bridgette takes care of providing us with a self-serve breakfast. All in all a wonderful place to stay.

This is our 2nd time staying here in the last 5 years. The suites are very clean, nice and affordable. They are more like apts than bedrooms, you have a full kitchen, living room, bath and bedroom. Brigitte the owner is very nice and gave us some great ideas of things to do in nearby areas. It is only about...

Beautiful home, very accommodating hostess. She is entitled to have certain guidelines which allow her to maintain the excellent level of service. Like staying in a well kept condo! Will stay again if she will have me. Excellent location, easy to get around from here to town, to Anchorage. I enjoyed the beautiful gardens as well. Very safe home which...

we stayed here while attending a graduation ...the location is ideal if you have friends or family in the eagle river area ...the home was very comfortable and seemed like a home versus a sterile hotel....Bridgette's breakfasts were very tasty and she accommodated our unusual hours during our excursions through out Alaska's hinder land...as you read the other reviews that...

What a cute little B&B! I submitted my e-mail requesting information about availability, and of course immediately afterward saw that the minimum for peak season stays was more nights than I had entered. I would happily stay longer at such a cute place, so I called the number listed to change my request. Brigette answered, and rudely informed me that...

My husband, my friend and I were looking forward to a great experience since we've all had very good luck in the past with Anchorage area B&Bs. Not so with the Alaska Chalet. I had been in email contact with the hostess, Brigitte. Her instruction upon arriving at the B&B was to ring the bell at our unit's private entrance...
