The huts are simple and sufficient, and delightful for that. No running potable water inside, but access at the palm tree outside, and no heat in the showers. But clean, simple and so relaxed. The real sparkle about this place is the hosts - Tracy and Trevor are superb. From airport pickup on you feel lucky to be with them....

A very pleasant place, on a beautiful beach surrounded by the best lagoon in the world ! The units are small, but functional. Trevor and Tracey are very nice, cheerful and careful about our well being. Trevor proposes boat trip to the small islands around, and Tracey cooks delicious meals ! Captain Ted is also very pleasant, quiet... a nice...

Trevor picked me and my wife up at the airport, and gave us a brief (but thorough) tour of the town as we bought groceries. The room was nicely sized (we stayed in the Garden Unit, which has its own bathroom) and had a nice kitchen area with sink, gas stove, toaster, water heater, and mini-fridge. Very relaxing place to...

We are most happy to show you around the island, and usually on the first day it is nice to get a little bit of a guided tour so when you venture out later you sought of know where things are. The beach is pretty special here, nestled away hidden from everyone its like your...

I’ve been meaning to write this review for months now, but Matriki Beach huts was amazing! I stayed for 5 nights in September 2014 and wish I had stayed longer! The accommodation excelled all my expectations and was excellent value for money! I stayed in the Beach Hut and it had everything that I needed, including an outside shower, which...

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Matriki without writing a novel! Not only is it an affordable slice of an otherwise expensive destination, it is also the best slice! Close to everything, lovely charming hut accommodation, amusing critters, cats, chickens, hermit crabs galore, and a perfect groomed beach which has world class snorkeling right out of your door, not...

We stayed at Matriki for six nights and we loved the beach hut right at the beach! Yes, the hut was small and basic, but realy, how much time do you spend there when you are on a bounty island with the beach starting right at your doorstep. With (beach) towels and a mozzie net provided, all you realy need...

We absolutely loved our stay at Matriki Beach Huts. This little piece of paradise is just bursting with character and ambiance. The huts are rustic which in a way adds to the whole Robinson Crusoesque deserted island vibe enhanced by the fact that there are only 5 huts/rooms in total. The rooms are basic however - just a step above...
