Vicki and Peter were excellent hosts at Paparei. Warm, welcoming, and accomodating; it was pleasure to stay at their place. The location, both on the beachfront and central to the island was perfect; especially for us kiters who would catch the boat down at the wharf every morning to head out to Maina. The bungalow was clean and well-appointed for...

Two bungalows, metres from the sea, shaded by coconut trees. Both have raised balconies and well appointed living and sleeping areas. Other holiday places are sited on resorts and a bit anonymous... This is a small, family run affair and better for it. It is close to a cafe and scooter and car hiring places. The host Vicki, is charming,...

Great wee bungalows, good sized decks facing the setting sun through the coconut palms, idyllic. Bike rental right over the road, close to township + wharf. Easy walk to Pacific Resort for coffee. Very shallow water, great for little guys.

Peter and Vicki are just fantastic. Really welcoming, and helpful, but not intrusive. Greeted us at the airport with a Lei (I'm not sure if that is correct in Cook Island language) before the short drive to the bungalows. They are truly amazing/Breath taking. Great advice on what to do, where to go. Peter showed me how to Husk a...

My family returned to Aitutaki after 23 years for a week of fun and relaxation. Vicki and Peter were considerate and gracious hosts, adding to the fabulous week. Vicki met us at the airport with a beautiful lei, a warm hug...delicious marmalade, fruit and bread welcomed us in the bungalow. She advised us on many eateries and other activities. The...

From the lei greeting on arrival to the goodbye hug, Vicki and Peter are great hosts. Vicki always makes sure guests are comfortable and have what they need, including making bookings. There's daily maid service, and linens are changed every few days. There's free drinking water and plenty of solar-heated hot water. The bungalows are spacious, well-built, and have ceiling...

Just returned from an incredible 2 week trip to the Cook Islands. We spent the first 3 nights at Paparei Bungalows on Aitutaki and it was paradise! The bungalow was very clean with lovely decor and gorgeous property right on the beach with stunning sunset views. Vicki and Peter treated us like royalty from the fresh fruit to Vicki's homemade...

My mother and myself stayed here for 2 nights after a week in Phuket. The hotel was very nice and the facilities were great. The buffet at the restaurant was very good value for money with a large selection of dishes. The rooms were pleasant with a large bathroom. The bed head however was rather grubby (stained). The only criticism...

We had a wonderful stay at Paparei Bungalows. They have everything you need and then some. Fresh fruit, baked goodies, homemade chutney and jam. Good recommendations and even booked our scooter, lagoon cruise and dinner reservation for us. Sadly we did not have the opportunity to meet Vickie and Peter because of a family matter but Mati and Tai took...

We have just spent 6 nights at Paparei Bungalows and loved every moment. We chose Paparei through being lucky enough to have seen it while on a previous holiday to Aitutaki, thought it looked just right for us, and were determined to stay there next time. We certainly weren't disappointed! The 2 bungalows are located only metres from the beautiful...
