We only spent one night there, but felt very comfortable! The design/decoration of the hotel is really nice, warm and welcoming. The room was clean, breakfast was good (toast, fruits, cake, eggs,...) and we also had dinner there, which was good as well! Staff was helpful and nice. Price absolutely okay for what you get!

We stayed here for 2 nights. Had a room facing the front road instead of court yard. Room was big and hot water was working fine. The hotel is next to a train line so no matter which room you get, you can't completely avoid the noise. The train most active around 5:30am - 7:30am and evening around 6pm -...

plus: This is truely a marvel in this city, almost everything was fine, friendly and clean. The breakfast buffet is great, there is book exchange and 2 internet computers besides free WiFi for use. Small terrace to relax and enjoy the free welcome drink. minus: No way to sleep longer than 05:30 because the steadily honking train passes right in...

We stayed for one night. The bed was very comfortable. You can use the patio table in the entrance garden to eat, drink and converse. The hotel is situated in a safe part of town. Our breakfast was included and was delicious. We had the local breakfast plate called pinto gallo.

We stayed in this hotel on our first night in Costa Rica and enjoyed a good nights sleep. The room was a basic double and quite small but had a good shower and comfortable bed. On our return for two nights before flying home we booked a superior room and were upgraded to a lovely spacious room with a large...

We stayed at the Hotel Fleur de Lys on our first night in Costa Rica and the night before our flight. The rooms were very clean and all the hotel staff was very nice. The restaurant in the hotel has good food, and it's a nice alternative to venturing out into the city for dinner. We were pleased with its...

The hotel has a nice style, the personell is nice and helpful. Many europeans stay in this hotel, i guess is because the hotel style is what europeans like. The room was simple and clean, though the Tv was kind of old and small. All in all i recommended.

We stayed at Fleur De Lys for one night. The room was clean and comfortable and the receptionist was glad to assist us with everything we needed. The location is also very convenient. Overall, it was a very good experience for our first night in Costa Rica. We would surely stay there again if we happen to return to San...

If you consider yourself a flash-packer, this is the place for you. It costs around 50 dollars per night for a double room with an en-suite, (breakfast included) depending on which Hotel booking website you use. For what you get in the hotel it's 5 star value. You get a free welcome drink voucher on arrival that you can use...

Stayed here 1 night and it was great. It's right downtown San Jose, 3 blocks from all shops, bus stations and restaurants... Breakfast was delicious, typical Costa Rican breakfast (buffet style). It's a different atmosphere, rooms are named after native Costa Rican flowers...
