Really accomodating, helpful staff. Nice breakfast, constant fresh fruit and coffee (all included). Escalante is an amazing little zona with a diverse delicious food scene and vibrant nightlife. Helpful and nice staff, nice atmosphere and chill garden, great location, lots of restaurants and bars nearby, close to the city easy to get to downtown, quiet at night. Good value for money. I will go there again.

Service provided by the young man in reception was very friendly and helpful. This property is an old house that has been converted into a hostel, and still presents some of the features, such as the beautiful staircase. Whilst it's seen better days (it must've been beautiful in its time), it was fine for the one night we stayed...a reasonable budget option close to the city centre. It's set in a very pleasant garden area and provides a number of sitting spaces. Breakfast was the usual fare and quite acceptable. Main downside was the very uncomfortable bed....and this was one of the best rooms.

Good restaurants in the area. Room is fine. Breakfast is scrambled eggs and bread with peanutbutter. Transfer to and from the airport 75 minutes for 25 dollar. It can be a bit crowded with the people staying at the hostel.
